File:Gor-orbit-diagram.svg

Original file (SVG file, nominally 800 × 596 pixels, file size: 17 KB)

Description Abstract diagram of the three-mooned planet Gor in earth's orbit, but opposite to earth (i.e. the "counter-earth" or "antichthon"), as described in the Gor series of science-fiction books by author John Norman. The diagram is obviously not to scale -- the sizes of the planets, moons, sun, and of the lunar orbits are all greatly exaggerated relative to the size of the earth's orbit around the sun, while the size of the sun relative to the earth, and the relative separation of the orbits of the three moons around Gor, are greatly under-stated.
