Description
English: "From the park looking east to the ha-ha, lawn and the ends of the two wings. The main entrance is on the right. May have been the site of a Medieval building, but by 1655 it came into the hands of the Walcot family, who were Royalists with very close ties to Charles I. In 1766, the house was was completely redesigned and redecorated by Thomas Farnolls Pritchard. Since 1901 it has been owned by the Wheeler family."[1]
