Description
English: Mount Sorrel with Armagh House in the foreground. Post-battle image of the June 1916 Mount Sorrel battlefield. The debris is all that remains of a dugout and shelter destroyed by artillery fire. Prior to the war, most of the terrain here was heavily wooded.
Français : Le mont Sorrel avec la maison Armagh en arrière-plan. Une image d'après la bataille de juin 1916 du champ de bataille du mont Sorrel. Les débris sont tout ce qui reste d'une tranchée détruite par des tirs d'artillerie. Avant la guerre, la majorité du terrain à cet endroit était densément boisé.
