English: Lithograph depicting a bird's eye view of a scene of the Battle of Calpulalpan illustrated by Casimiro Castro in the 19th century, including a legend at the bottom detailing the involved persons and divisions and some geographic descriptions. The battle was fought in Mexico on December 22, 1860, and it marked the end of Reform War, a civil war fought between Mexican liberals and conservatives, as the conservative forces under General Miguel Miramón were decisively defeated by the liberals under General Jesús González Ortega, allowing President Benito Juárez to enter Mexico City and end hostilities.
