We Mavericks are a New Zealand-Australian contemporary folk duo consisting of Victoria Vigenser and Lindsay Martin.
We Mavericks was formed in 2018,[1] following the release of Vigenser's album The Gap, which was co-produced by Martin and recorded in New South Wales. The project began with songs previously written by Vigenser and later developed into a collaborative effort with Martin handling the mixing, mastering, and instrumental arrangements.[citation needed]
The duo released their debut album, Grief’s a Gardener, in 2022. It was produced by Vigenser and Martin on Dharawal country in the Illawarra region of New South Wales.[2]
