Sudhir Mehta is an Indian entrepreneur in the automotive and electric mobility sectors.[1] [2] He is the founder and chairman of Pinnacle Industries, a manufacturer specializing in automotive seating and interior systems, and EKA Mobility, an electric vehicle company.[3][4]
Education
Mehta obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Economics from DePauw University and an MBA in Finance and International Business from the University of Chicago. In 2022, he received an honorary Doctor of Letters (D.Litt.) from Ajeenkya DY Patil University.[5]
Career
Pinnacle Industries
Founded in 1996, Pinnacle Industries manufactures commercial vehicle interiors and specialty vehicles. The company has expanded its operations into the electric vehicle sector.[6]
EKA Mobility
In 2021, Mehta launched EKA Mobility, a company focused on electric commercial vehicles[7]. The company has partnerships with Mitsui Co., Ltd. (Japan) and VDL Groep (Netherlands).[8][9]
