Amy Porterfield (born December 12, 1976) is an American entrepreneur, online educator, and author. She is the founder and CEO of Amy Porterfield LLC, a multi-million dollar company that teaches entrepreneurs how to create and sell digital courses.[2] Porterfield hosts the "Online Marketing Made Easy" podcast, which has garnered over 60 million downloads since its 2013 launch.[3] Her 2023 book Two Weeks Notice became a New York Times bestseller.[4]

Early Career

Before launching her own business, Porterfield worked as the Director of Content Development for Tony Robbins.[5] During her tenure there from 2006 to 2009, she managed large-scale online marketing campaigns and product launches.

Business Ventures

In 2009, Porterfield quit her job and later founded her digital marketing company, focusing on teaching entrepreneurs how to build and scale their online businesses.[6] She has since grown this into a $100 million business.[7]

Media Presence

Porterfield hosts the "Online Marketing Made Easy" podcast, launched in 2013, which consistently ranks among the top marketing podcasts on Apple Podcasts.[8] The podcast features marketing strategies, business tips, and interviews with industry experts.

In 2023, Porterfield published her book, Two Weeks Notice: Find the Courage to Quit Your Job, Make More Money, Work Where You Want, and Change the World. It featured in The New York Times Bestseller list for two weeks,[9] and has been lauded for the way it encourages entrepreneurial women.[10]

Personal Life

Porterfield resides in Nashville, Tennessee, with her husband Hobie and her dog Scout.[11]
