Dishoom is a small Bombay (Mumbai)-inspired restaurant group with locations throughout the UK.[2]

Dishoom was founded in 2010 by co-founders Shamil and Kavi Thakrar, along with Amar and Adarsh Radia, who both left the business in 2017. It was designed to match the Irani cafés that were popular in Mumbai in the 1960s.[3] The first Dishoom café opened in Covent Garden in 2010. As of November 2022, there are 10 Dishoom restaurants open around the United Kingdom, with locations in London, Edinburgh, Manchester and Birmingham.[4][5][6]

In 2020 Dishoom introduced the Dishoom online store to sit alongside their restaurants.[7]

Menu

The menu includes breakfast naan breads.[8] Described by some as Indian street food, the restaurant describes its offering as Bombay comfort food with an evolving menu.[9]
