Chettu Kinda Pleader (transl. Advocate Under the Tree) is a 1989 Indian Telugu-language comedy thriller film directed by Vamsy.[2] It stars Rajendra Prasad, Kinnera, Urvashi. The film was produced by Nandigam Surya Ravindra under the Siri Cine Chitra banner. The music was composed by Ilaiyaraaja.[3] The film is a remake of the Malayalam film Thanthram (1988),[citation needed]

Plot

The film begins with a self-made industrialist, Gopala Krishna, who leads a blissful life with his wife, Sujatha & son, Nani. Tragically, he dies while driving back home on their wedding day. During the funeral, Gopala Krishna's estranged father, Sarabhaiah, arrives. He attempts to amend with Sujatha for authority but fails. Besides, Balaraju, a scaredy-cat vain attorney, constantly balls up at the court. The only person that supports and cares for him is his cross-cousin & disciple Krishna Kumari/Krishna. Now, Sarabhaiah resorts to a lawsuit claiming that Sujatha's marriage to Gopala Krishna is invalid, resulting in them expelling her from the family wealth. Receiving no help, Sujatha forwards Gopala Krishna's mate, Advocate Basavaraju, who also Sarabhaiah snares. Plus, Sarabhaiah's thugs hunt and endanger her.

Once on escape, Sujatha acquaints Balaraju and requests to take up her case, which he accepts, assuming it is straightforward. However, it becomes challenging since the knaves destroy the complete evidence of their matrimony. Parallelly, Balaraju is assaulted by the goons, so, despite Sujatha's pleas, he quits. Being incognizant of it, he is re-attacked when he approaches the complaint, and they pound him. Ergo, Balaraju courageously decides to get this case. Anyhow, the miscreants produce alibis: at a time, Sujatha was apprehended under prostitution and been in a rescue home as a psychiatric patient. Hence, Balaraju denounces Sujatha for concealing the facts when she spins back. Sujatha is an orphan brought by an association. After civilizing, she attends an interview at Gopala Krishna's company, where his sly manager tries to molest her. The police fallaciously arrested and penalized her, which ended her on the streets mentally shocked. Gopala Krishna spotted Sujatha, who comforted her in his company with an apology. Soon, the love kindled between them, and they knitted.

Hearing it, Balaraju starts his investigation as a valor by mingling Krishna & a bouncer, Alex, and counterstrikes the black hat. Then, he learns about Gopala Krishna's bestie Bhagavantham and walks onto him, where he digs out the main tests. During the trials, Balaraju spills the beans by facing Basavaraju and calls criminal proceedings further. Here, as a flabbergast, he unearths the terrific fact that Sarabhaiah is Gopala Krishna's stepfather who slain his father too and espoused his mother for the assets. That day, Sarabhaiah & Gopala Krishna had a big fight for property, so they slaughtered him. Currently, Sarabhaiah flees, jeopardizing Sujatha & Nani. At last, Balaraju shields them & ceases the blackguards. Finally, the movie ends happily with the marriage of Balaraju & Krishna Kumari.
