Bouchavesnes-Bergen (French pronunciation: [buʃavɛn bɛʁɡɛn]; Picard: Bouchavène-Bergen) is a commune in the Somme department in Hauts-de-France in northern France.

Geography

The commune is situated on the junction of the D149 and the N17 roads, some 22 miles (35 km) northwest of Saint-Quentin.

Foch Monument

The town has a monument dedicated to Marshal Foch. This is located near the D1017 road. This monument represents a bronze statue of Marshal Foch sculpted by Firmin Michelet, a French sculpor. It was inaugurated in 1926 in the presence of Marshal Foch.[4]
