The 56th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival took place from July 1 to 9, 2022, in Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic.[1]
A total of 170 films were presented at the festival, including twenty-seven world premieres, three international and three European premieres.[2] Canadian-Iranian co-produced film Summer with Hope won the Crystal Globe.[3] The festival paid tributes to Czech actors Eva Zaoralová, Bolek Polívka and composer Zdeněk Liška.[4]
