The 2024 WAFF Women's Clubs Championship (Arabic: بطولة غرب آسيا الثالثة لأندية السيدات) will be the 3rd edition of WAFF Women's Clubs Championship, the biennial international women's club football tournament organised by West Asian Football Federation. the championship will be hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.[1][2]

Safa, the defending champions, were unable to defend their title following the team's dissolution in 2022.[3]

Overview

The West Asian Football Association decided to postpone the Women's Clubs Championship to a later date, which was initially scheduled to be hosted in Saudi Arabia from November 3 to 13.

The reason for the postponement is the withdrawal of many clubs due to the security situation in the Middle East. The tournament had been prepared to host 8 clubs since the announcement of the competition's details on February 29.

Teams

Teams qualified through their domestic leagues based on sporting merit. Initially, 8 teams were set to participate in the tournament.[4][5] However, on 11 October 2024, WAFF announced that only five teams will participate.[6]
