Left Turn is an anti-capitalist organization that was formed in 2001 by a small group of former members of the International Socialist Organization after the latter had severed its contacts with the International Socialist Tendency (IST). Left Turn became the American affiliate of the IST until 2003, when it severed its ties and generally dropped the word "socialist" from its self-description. The group publishes a magazine, also called Left Turn.
