Importance scale
Label | Criteria | Examples |
---|---|---|
Top | Core topics about the Czech Republic. Generally, these topics are sub-articles of the main Czech Republic article, vital for the understanding of the Czech Republic or extremely notable to people outside of Czech Republic. This category should stay limited to approximately 30 members. | History of the Czech Republic, Prague |
High | Topics that are very notable within the Czech Republic, and well-known outside of it, and can be reasonably expected to be included in any print encyclopedia. This includes cities with a population of more than 100,000 | Brno, Václav Havel |
Mid | Topics that are reasonably notable on a national level within the Czech Republic without necessarily being famous or very notable internationally. | Czech Statistical Office, Třinec Iron and Steel Works |
Low | Topics of mostly local interest or those that are only included for complete coverage or as examples of a higher-level topic; peripheral or trivial topics that have only a limited connection to the Czech Republic | Punch-up in Piestany, Ewa Farna |
