Substantially similar edits and POV pushing[1][2], sockmaster was recently blocked indefinitely for repeated attempts to remove Portal:Atheism. The Thing // Talk // Contribs 16:51, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

It's also possible that User:95.133.117.5 and User:Qualities108 are socks as well. A relevant ANI discussion. P. D. Cook Talk to me! 16:57, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

Posting "discussion" of Bhavishya Purana on multiple talk pages: [3], [4], [5]. Added favorite little bit to Noah's Ark: [6]. Hitting pretty much the same set of articles and adding redundant See also entries, per usual. Yworo (talk) 22:31, 30 August 2010 (UTC)

- Yeah, that certainly seems to be him. The style is basically the same incoherent style, just toned down a little bit. The same goes for the unreferenced POV content and the willingness to make irrelevant religious statements on user talk pages. He needs to show that he understands NPOV, RS and verifiability before we can let him loose again. Block evasion is not a step in that direction. --DanielRigal (talk) 23:07, 30 August 2010 (UTC)

- Not sure if that is him as there is no sign of the former extreme verbosity and argumentativeness, just loads of spammy extlinks. It could be that he has changed tack or it could be somebody else. It just got blocked for spamming anyway so I guess this is moot. If we really want to know then do a checkuser. If it traces to Ukraine then it is more likely to be him as he did his IP spamming/vandalism from Ukrainian IP addresses. --DanielRigal (talk) 21:09, 4 September 2010 (UTC)

User already indef-blocked. I'm a new guy on the block, but I think a decline is in order. Frank | talk 21:10, 4 September 2010 (UTC)
- Clerk note: There is nothing to decline, as there was no CU request. However, there is nothing more to do here, so I'm closing this case. --Shirik (Questions or Comments?) 21:11, 4 September 2010 (UTC)

Added two IPs, which are extremely likely to be the same as the user. Which says nothing about whether he's HareKrishnaPortal as well, but from my limited experience it looks likely. —Soap— 20:15, 27 September 2010 (UTC)
- Agreed that the IPs are most likely socks, though 95.132.17.50 is a little less clear-cut due to generally having better English skills, the IP range proximity in conjunction with the same religious stuff would seem to imply sockpuppetry. Delta Trine Συζήτηση 20:20, 27 September 2010 (UTC)

Diff shows same religious zealotry and insertions of unsourced original research into articles in attempts of conversion; the ip is also registered to the same Ukrtelecom IP Network here as before. Suggest that a rangeblock be done of these ip addresses. :| TelCoNaSpVe :| 13:37, 1 October 2010 (UTC)

This is a tough one. We don't want to rangeblock a whole city just to get rid of one annoying user. Anyway, I have removed his spurious request to merge Religious philosophy into Theology. --DanielRigal (talk) 14:35, 1 October 2010 (UTC)

Clerk declined per this CU should generally not be used to link accounts to IPs. In this case, WP:DUCK applies anyway (same IP range as used in the past; edits Brahman; same anti-atheist agenda, see for example [7] and HareKrishnaPortal). Per this, ranges appear to be 95.132.0.0/17 (block range · block log (global) · WHOIS (partial)) and 95.133.0.0/17 (block range · block log (global) · WHOIS (partial)), which are relatively wide ranges. SpitfireTally-ho! 13:47, 1 October 2010 (UTC)
Clerk note: We can block smaller ranges. 95.133.95.135/18 appears to be mostly but them within the last few months. 95.132.108.252/19 appears to be them only for about a month. 95.133.17.59/20 looks to be just them since August. 95.132.83.0/22 looks pretty good too, used long-term. Elockid (Alternate) (Talk) 15:23, 1 October 2010 (UTC)
Administrator note The following ranges I've rangeblocked: 95.132.80.0/22 (1 month), 95.132.96.0/19 (2 weeks, this takes care of the IP), and 95.133.64.0/18 (2 weeks). These ranges don't look too active, but seem to be heavily used by them. 95.133.17.59/20 I'm not going to touch for now because it hasn't edited in a month. Elockid (Talk) 19:24, 1 October 2010 (UTC)

Clerk note: I'm going to close this as no action. This is evidently them. But seeing as the IP hasn't edited in days in their IP is dynamic, they probably won't be back on that IP. Elockid (Alternate) (Talk) 13:30, 8 October 2010 (UTC)
