Here are four more to check. SaltyBoatr get wet 15:15, 13 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Evidence submitted by Bobby122

Hello, I am requesting this sockpuppetry investigation into the Anonip because I was mediating a case over at the Mediation Cabal and the user SaltyBoatr stated that he had evidence that the ip adress was of a user who had been banned numerous other times. I want this ip investigated before we discuss more of the case as the ip is a main party and also so this matter can be cleared up and no doubt would remain. The evidece can be found here. RE: Allegations of sockpuppetry on my part

Currently I don't change IP's as I am using a DSL modem that stays on 24/7. I did lose power once (that I know of) and when the modem came back on it was assigned a different IP. In the past I was on dial-up and was assigned a new IP every time I called in.71.184.184.238 (talk) 13:16, 13 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Salty is disgruntled because I continue to point out that he continues to twist the contents of the Second Amendment article in order to push his discredited gun control agenda. His POV pushes have resulted in edit wars that have shut down the article for the past month. Edit wars in which I had no part in, but which I did point out, trying to get him to change his behavior. My reward was getting accused, by Salty, along with another poster as the cause of the latest edit war, when Salty requested the article be frozen. To repeat: Salty was the only one in a 3rr violation at that time. My guess is that after Salty found out that could not get his discredited POV prominent placement, he got the article frozen, out of spite.

If one of you admins can resurrect Saltys freeze request of July 3rd you will find he is blaming me and Hauskalainen for engaging in Edit wars, as the reason for the freeze. To repeat: Salty was the only person with a 3rr violation at that time.71.184.184.238 (talk) 16:12, 13 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • An AnonIP with similar writing style, similar POV article interests and similar GeoLocations was plainly sockpuppeting to evade blocks last Autumn [1][2][3][4][5][6][7]. The present AnonIP is demonstrating a continuation of the WP:NPA and WP:Disruptive editing behavior seen in the prior policy violations which indicates a failure to learn how to comply with the policies here. This long term problem is disruptive to the goal of editing an encyclopedia. SaltyBoatr get wet 14:59, 13 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Isolated ranges: 71.184.176.0/20, 98.118.0.0/19, 96.237.0.0/16, and the lone 71.184.184.238. (X! · talk)  · @191  ·  03:35, 23 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've blocked 71.184.176.0/20 for 3 days, but I'm afraid the other two ranges are a tad busy to block. –MuZemike 01:29, 24 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
