Delete. Redirect was created following a request at Wikipedia:Articles_for_creation/Redirects/2018-04#Redirect_request:_Far-wing_terrorism_in_the_United_Kingdom, but the request itself was IMHO obviously a typo for Far-right terrorism in the United Kingdom. I raised this with the editor who created it, but AFAICS they have not taken action to delete the mistaken page. – Fayenatic London 22:59, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
- Delete. As creator of the redirect, I do endorse that "Far-wing" was most likely an error. Since the alternative redirect was created, this one can be deleted. Paquito590 (talk) 19:11, 24 April 2018 (UTC)

- Question - Does this rationale apply to the Justice League sequel? The article it's aimed at doesn't give a title. A quick Google search shows some use of "Justice League 2", but those appear to be colloquial instead of official. Argento Surfer (talk) 12:51, 1 May 2018 (UTC)

Well, I mean, it's technically accurate, but since anything at all to the power of 0 equals 1, I'm not sure why this one specific redirect is necessary. Also, no views at all in the last 30 days. Thegreatluigi (talk) 20:19, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
*Withdrawn by nominator. I still think this redirect is useless and should be deleted, but I can see I'm clearly in the minority, so I'll (somewhat grudgingly) withdraw this... Thegreatluigi (talk) 18:22, 24 April 2018 (UTC)
- @Thegreatluigi: Might as well withdraw the withdraw. Unless the rest of the participants agree with the result which would occur if this is withdrawn, the discussion is not eligible for early closure. (See WP:EARLY.) Steel1943 (talk) 21:54, 24 April 2018 (UTC)

- Delete as overly specific. I mean, any number to the 0th power is 1. Steel1943 (talk) 20:33, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
- I second Redirect to Power of 10 over "Keep" per AngusWOOF. "Delete" is still preferred, but retargeting is more helpful than the current situation. Steel1943 (talk) 03:22, 24 April 2018 (UTC)
Keep. Mathematically, it might be silly to have such a redirect, but 10 is the base of the most common number system, and we have articles (or article sections) for many of its powers. I'm inclined to keep the redirect for consistency with 10^1,10^2, 10^3, 10^4 10^5, 10^6, 10^7, 10^8, 10^9, 10^12, 10^15, 10^18, 10^21, etc. – Uanfala (talk) 21:14, 23 April 2018 (UTC)- Agreeing that redirecting to Power of ten per AngusWOOF is a better idea. – Uanfala (talk) 06:59, 24 April 2018 (UTC)
- Keep per Uanfala. Jjjjjjdddddd (talk) 02:25, 24 April 2018 (UTC)
- Redirect to Power of 10 as at least there it is described in a table. But Orders of magnitude (numbers) is okay too. Alternatively Exponentiation#Zero_exponent, but that would be more for redirects like Zeroth power AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 03:01, 24 April 2018 (UTC)
- I think it is similar to the page 1 E0, which used E-notation. --
ㅂㄱㅇ (talk) 07:12, 24 April 2018 (UTC) - Keep as a commonly-enough used synonym for the target because of scientific notation. I disagree that power of ten is a better target because the only relevant part is 1 itself. -- Tavix (talk) 15:12, 24 April 2018 (UTC)
- Keep per Uanfala. I was going to say the same thing. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 13:28, 30 April 2018 (UTC)
- Keep. If 10^1,10^2, etc. are not targeted to Power of 10, it would be inconsistent to make an exception here. Politrukki (talk) 13:49, 30 April 2018 (UTC)

Recently created cross namespace redirect - maybe an example of thousands proposed like it? This is a very unlikely reach string. It is a very unlikely and inappropriate base for a text link. - Portal:Random → User:Mac Henni (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: //delete ]
In Feb 2018 a user created this and redirected it at his own userpage. It shows up in all the Portal space navigation. Clearly no one is watching portal space very closely for this to get by. There is nothing Random about landing on this user's page from a portal page. Legacypac (talk) 14:35, 23 April 2018 (UTC)

- Move to User:Mac Henni/Portal:Random, inform the owner, and delete the nominated redirect. I'm not sure what the purpose of this page is/was, but to me, it almost looks like some sort of sandbox. Best let the page creator figure out what to do with it. Steel1943 (talk) 15:16, 23 April 2018 (UTC)

Otello Corporation
- The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
- The result of the discussion was Close in favor of CfD. There are a lot of pages to go through here, but not much discussion anywhere. For this page's part, I don't think there's enough participation by uninvolved editors to consider this consensus, but I don't want to relist this because, as AngusWOOF points out, this isn't really the proper venue. Talkpage of the page in question would be best, but more to the point, a CfD discussion was opened a day prior to this nomination. There isn't exactly much input there either, but given it was made first and that this stems from a previous CfD, I'm closing this in favor of CfD as the (more) proper venue. ~ Amory (u • t • c) 17:27, 2 May 2018 (UTC)
- Otello Corporation → Opera Software (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: //delete ]
I am trying to create an article for this redirect but there seem to be previous (somewhat) inconclusive discussions regarding the redirect (User talk:Fayenatic london#CFD results: Opera Software). Discussions on individual talkpages went unanswered (User talk:Onel5969#Otello Corporation, User talk:Gotitbro#Rollback at Otello Corporation, User talk:Winged Blades of Godric#Otello Corporation), listing for discussion here formally. Both corporations (Opera Software and Otello Corp.) are distinct entities and cannot be encompassed in one article as that leads to WP:COAT as I had detailed in my edits (1). Requesting for removal of redirect and article creation for Otello. Gotitbro (talk) 05:39, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
- Create separate article. Otello spun off its Opera browser business as a separate company Opera Software AS which is now Chinese-owned. I'm assuming that Otello without Opera is already independently notable; if not, then use a redirect for now, and have a separate section about Otello in the Opera Software article for the time being. – Fayenatic London 08:27, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
- Otello owns and has owned many notable companies such as FastMail, Skyfire, SurfEasy, Admarvel and AdColony, Handster and Bemobi among others. I agree that it's notable in and of itself. Gotitbro (talk) 10:09, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
- Just build over the redirect. Legacypac (talk) 17:45, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
- He did that and got reverted by multiple editors; that's why he has come here to seek consensus. – Fayenatic London 23:01, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
- Comment It needs to be discussed at the Opera Software talk page as the editors don't agree with spinning this out. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 03:20, 24 April 2018 (UTC)
- There was an incorrect move by an editor of Opera Software to Otello Corporation. The editors were only concerned by the move which was reverted after discussion. There has been no contention/discussion about a new article just that previous move was problematic. Separate articles would remove confusions about these companies being distinct. - What kind of a search would this redirect be "clutter" for? -- Tavix (talk) 18:08, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
- Delete. The formatting and repetitive nature of this redirect could be considered a WP:XY issue. I understand Tavix's comment, but for those somewhat familiar with the Final Fantasy franchise/series (such as myself), this redirect could be considered somewhat misleading. To further explain, the Final Fantasy series takes place in multiple universes, though the universes intersect in the fighting game I cannot recall the name of at this time. However, Final Fantasy Tactics apparently takes place in the same universe as Final Fantasy XII. Anyways, before I go on too much of a lore/WP:NOTWIKIA tangent, the point is that the redirect could potentially make a reader believe that the target is part of an aspect/universe of the Final Fantasy series which it is not.
