Promotional article, from an account that is continually adding spamlinks Andy Dingley (talk) 12:40, 7 January 2025 (UTC)
- Delete. The page is, purportedly, a guide to removing swimming pools, so to begin with it is not something that could become an article WP:NOTHOWTO. The "sources" fall into four categories: tangentially related, completely unrelated (such as
Smith, J. (2020). "Cost Analysis of Above-Ground Pool Removal." Journal of Home Improvement. Retrieved from https://www.jstor.org/stable/1234567
; there is no Journal of Home Improvement, and the link points at a response paper in Journal of Farm Economics from 1956), nonexistent (Smith, John. (2021). "Pool Maintenance and Removal." Springer Publishing. ISBN 123456789
– that John Smith appears to be quite an authority in the field...), and pools-now.com, which is the website the sandbox author is here to promote. Let's not assist them. --bonadea contributions talk 14:43, 7 January 2025 (UTC)
- Yes, the unfindable books (and lack of page numbers) were especially suspicious, but I hadn't had time to make a proper search for them. Andy Dingley (talk) 15:34, 7 January 2025 (UTC)
- Delete per nomination. Wikipedia is not a guide and contributor appears to have a conflict of interest. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 14:48, 7 January 2025 (UTC)
- Delete per Bonadea's careful analysis. DMacks (talk) 16:26, 7 January 2025 (UTC)
- Delete as spam and as Wikipedia is not for how-to guides. Robert McClenon (talk) 17:11, 7 January 2025 (UTC)
- Speedy delete: This can be G11'd. It's fairly common for Wikipedia spammers to hide spam links in a "how-to"-style draft article. Helpful Raccoon (talk) 09:43, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
