Basic information
Johnbendenz (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log)
Began as a registered editor in 2022, then created sockpuppet accounts before transitioning to IP editing.
Targeted areas, pages, themes
Creates stub articles about gotras, clans and other Indian caste subgroups using extremely poor sourcing, focusing in particular but not exclusively on Gujjar and Koli groups.
Habitual behavior
In addition to being similar in terms of content, sources are repeated across articles regardless of relevance. The sources in question rarely actually mention the groups that are the subjects of the stubs. Sourcing is sometimes sufficient for a redirect and sourced mention at a related page such as List of Gujjar clans, but almost never reaches the level of GNG.
Since moving to IP editing, they often try to hijack existing redirects and then propose a move to another title.
Due to their focus on caste articles and weak source work, sometimes ends up in conflict with other new editors or IPs over the accuracy of material in their stubs. Another sockmaster, R2dra, habitually BLARs articles created by this LTA.
