Claimed as fair use, but WP:NFCC no longer met. Photographs of the subject have since become available and can be seen in use here alongside this file. Includes a pair of photos that depict the IFU and WFU variants respectively, adequately illustrating the (rather obvious) visual difference between the two. — 2406:3003:2077:1E60:C998:20C6:8CCF:5730 (talk) 09:40, 28 June 2022 (UTC)

- File:Bahrain summit.jpg (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by Wakamoly ( | contribs | uploads | upload log).
This non-free image is claimed to be used for "visual identification of the object of the article." The image is not a logo, or other item of identification or branding so it is not suitable for its claimed use. Nor is the image the subject of significant sourced commentary. Fails WP:NFCC#8. This non-free screenshot does not meet WP:NFCC#8. Although the burning of King's Landing is discussed in the article, this image is not needed understand that aspect of the article and its removal would not be detrimental to a reader's understanding. Whpq (talk) 19:19, 28 June 2022 (UTC)

- File:General Directorate of Intelligence Logo.svg (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by Kulbhushan Jhadav ( | contribs | uploads | upload log).
This seal is not specific to the GDI, it is the seal of the whole government (see File:Emblem of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.svg). This is a decorative use that fails WP:NFCC#8 because it's not specific to the agency. Could just as easily use File:Flag of the Taliban.svg instead, which is public domain. ― Tartan357 Talk 06:55, 21 June 2022 (UTC)

- One agency using the whole government's seal does not cause it to stop being the whole government's seal. ― Tartan357 Talk 22:18, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion and clearer consensus.
Please add new comments below this notice. Thanks, ✗plicit 23:53, 28 June 2022 (UTC)- Delete agree with Tartan, that seal is used more widely by the whole government and is not useful for illustrating the GDI specifically. Its use by GDI as twitter profile icon does not imply status as a identifying mark for the agency; other uses elsewhere e.g. https://twitter.com/Alemarahenglish refutes any possibility that it could be used to distinguish GDI from other government organs or agencies. 2406:3003:2077:1E60:C998:20C6:8CCF:5730 (talk) 14:14, 29 June 2022 (UTC)
