This task force covers articles related to the D.C. United, its history, management, and notable players.

Goals

Preliminary goals include having articles that are necessary to show the history, culture and tradition of the club. This includes, but may not be limited to:
- Finishing all season articles reflecting on the team
- Improving the quality of articles for individual tournaments that D.C. United won
- Improve the D.C. United Wikipedia entry from a good article to a featured article.
Beyond early goals, long-term goals for this project include:
- All D.C. United cup final appearances
- All D.C. United Designated Players and All-Star Players
- Significant coaches in United history (Nowak, Arena, Roegen)

- Find editors who have shown interest in this subject and ask them to take a look here
- Identify articles for creation
- Identify articles for improvement
- Review importance and quality of existing articles
Importance scale
Assessments of importance for articles within the scope of this task force should be based on the following scale:
Top | Team and season articles, lists of D.C. United players and seasons |
High | The U-23 team and women's team, current and former stadiums, owners, general managers, coaches, All-Stars (selected while with the club), designated players, players with over 100 caps, supporters' groups, and cup final victories |
Mid | Players with between 40 and 99 caps, rivalries, rivalry cups, and cup final losses |
Low | Players with 39 or less caps, reserve teams, the Academy and miscellaneous content |
Assessment
Articles within the scope of this task force should be tagged with the WikiProject Football banner. This banner should include a DCUtd = yes
parameter, which will automatically put the page into the appropriate categories. The article can also have its importance rated, relative to the task force, by replacing yes with an importance value of Top, High, Mid, or Low.
