Their scopes are vague—none of them clearly distinguishes between ethnic, cultural, linguistic, or political aspects of Arab identity, and most lack sufficient content to justify standalone categories. Moreover, since these categories refer to Arabs in countries that are themselves part of the Arab world, the distinction becomes unnecessary and potentially misleading. Instead, more meaningful and structured categorization already exists under Category:Arab nationalism by country and its subcategories, which provide a clearer thematic framework tied to a specific aspect of Arab identity—namely political ideology. Other valid categorization schemes include by language, religion, or diaspora status, but such schemes must have a well-defined scope and consistent usage across articles.
