It is incomparable to e.g. Marxists because for the latter we have articles about professional Marxist philosophers. Most people in the category are only loosely associated with Gandhi because they symphatized with him or because they were fellow independence activists.

• Keep and prune. We certainly have articles on people who made a career out of Gandhian thought and practice: see for example Richard Gregg (social philosopher), Geoffrey Ostergaard, arguably Martin Luther King Jr. and others who followed in his footsteps, various people associated with the University of Bradford Department of Peace Studies, and so on. I agree with the nominator that the category's been applied too broadly, and that we ought to use it only in relation to people who identified with the idea(s) of Gandhism, rather than the related but distinct Indian independence movement or those associated with Gandhi in other ways, but that's a surmountable problem. • Keep, as Arms & Hearts says, Gandhism, as pertaining to those who followed the at-the-time unique pathway of nonviolent change shown and followed by Mohandas Gandhi, is both real and a definable trait. The 1960s Civil Rights Movement was largely based on techniques and philosophy first tested and experimented on by Gandhi, and many of the extremely key participants first tested Gandhi's thoughts during the Nashville Student Movement where they studied Gandhism as taught to them by James Lawson and by direct immersion in Gandhi's writings (newspapers, papers, texts) placed within a local college library. The term and category have true basis in fact, and they capture the main participants of those who effectively used their knowledge of the ways and words of Mohandas Gandhi to alter and steer national and international cultural norms.
