It fails WP:NPOL. Meeting Leaders doesn't make anyone notable. He is son of Suman Kumar Mallick, the article is a sock work and a deep discussion is done over that. --- Misterrrrr (talk) 03:25, 29 January 2023 (UTC)

Keep, easily passes WP:NPOL and WP:GNG. The article has several references which independently discusses his political career, life and work in fair depth. Er Naanu (talk) 09:14, 29 January 2023 (UTC)- How she passes Wikipedia:NPOL. 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐭𝟕𝟐𝟖🧙♂️Let's Talk ! 05:11, 29 January 2023 (UTC)
- Er Naanu is joking. Please read and understand it. Thanks --- Misterrrrr (talk) 12:50, 29 January 2023 (UTC)
- Er Naanu is suspected of sockpuppetry at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Suman Kumar Mallick. --Yamla (talk) 01:23, 30 January 2023 (UTC)
- Vote struck, blocked sockpuppet. See Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Suman Kumar Mallick. --Yamla (talk) 16:17, 2 February 2023 (UTC)
- Delete not here to offend anyone, and also the creator of the article. The subject is just a student leader and as far as i can see, not an elected representative to any house of state assembly or parliament of India. So don't pass WP:NPOL.Admantine123 (talk) 03:55, 29 January 2023 (UTC)
- Delete: Fails WP:NPOL. Unelected politicians are not notable. 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐭𝟕𝟐𝟖🧙♂️Let's Talk ! 05:12, 29 January 2023 (UTC)
Keep - yeah, clearly meets the requirements of WP:NPOL and WP:GNG as far as I can see. NITA227 (talk) 12:39, 29 January 2023 (UTC)- Please write the criteria of Wikipedia:NPOL and Wikipedia:GNG which you think that Mallick meets. 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐭𝟕𝟐𝟖🧙♂️Let's Talk ! 07:37, 29 January 2023 (UTC)

- Delete. Fails WP:NPOL - unelected politician. Fails WP:GNG - coverage is short, syndicated and primary. Probably self-generated PR. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 09:20, 30 January 2023 (UTC)
- Delete. Student activism is not a level of political activity that confers an automatic free pass over WP:NPOL, but the referencing isn't getting him over WP:GNG — it isn't substantive coverage or analysis about him, but just short blurbs quoting him as a provider of soundbite, which is not what we require to establish a person's notability. Bearcat (talk) 14:15, 30 January 2023 (UTC)
- Delete per WP:NPOL like my PROD nomination. The position he is in does not confer WP:NPOL. ✠ SunDawn ✠ (contact) 03:51, 1 February 2023 (UTC)
- Comment failing NPOL is no basis for deletion - NPOL is a positive test, satisfying it confers presumed notability, not satisfying only indicates an absence of presumed notability. Furthermore, being unelected per se has no bearing on notability. Regards, --Goldsztajn (talk) 07:12, 1 February 2023 (UTC)
- Delete Sources to the article are regurgitated press releases or reiterations of the subject's tweets. The photos are uploaded by a user only concerned with images of the same subject. My own searches reveal no SIGCOV, independent reliable sourcing available. Fails the GNG. Willing to reconsider my !vote with alternate sourcing.
