  *Keep Search in Japanese throws up articles referencing him. Several are interviews, but these were independent mentions, including one long profile piece[1] and a less thorough piece here where he is mentioned as part of a team[2] Enough coverage to prove notability, with likely other Japanese sources if I search further. I note that nominator lists languages spoken on his profile but does not include Japanese leaving me to question whether they should be nominating Japanese articles without the ability to do a competent WP:BEFORE search of Japanese sources...
