This is a hoax, almost blatant enough for G3, given falsely-titled links and a Youtube "reference" none of which mention the subject; but I bring it here as it has been dePRODded and it took me some searching (see the article talk page) to be quite sure. The author Rueni Renteria (talk · contribs) is a new SPA whose only edits are this article and attempts to insert the name into other articles. JohnCD (talk) 10:09, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment I had planned to speedy delete this later today, I only refrained out of respect of User:DGG who had removed the prod with the comment "Really reckless prod. Please look first.". I looked hard for sources, found exactly one which was dubious. The links on the page don't mention him. The SPA has replaced the names of real title holders with this guy's name in various articles, one being a BLP violation. Those were easy to check (and I even added an EL to one subject's article which sourced him as the real title holder). I'd still like to hear from DGG today but I will almost certainly be blocking the editor who created this article. Dougweller (talk) 10:23, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete Unverifiable, likely a hoax. --Vejvančický (talk | contribs) 13:36, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete per nom. Hoax. JJ98 (talk) 14:30, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete: I too looked for sources and found none. Editor (with same surname) has done a lot of work to make this look plausible, but it ain't. PamD (talk) 14:34, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete as hoax. External links are for another individual, misrepresented as relating to subject. Take sanctions against the article creator. Carrite (talk) 17:22, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete - Per above. It is most likely a hoax. Joaquin008 (talk) 17:41, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete It seems to be a WP:HOAX violation. Boxer record link points to korean boxer. scope_creep (talk) 21:08, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- DELETE as a hoax. My comments at DGG's profile suggest this to be a hoax. Protector of Wiki (talk) 05:48, 30 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete as blatant hoax. The research seems thorough enough, and the fact that the article's creator is User:Rueni Renteria only corroborates that theory. (I also suggest that the article's creator be blocked, as the only contributions are this article and insertion of similar misinformation into other boxing-related articles.) --Kinu t/c 15:50, 30 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete I am the original PRODder. I prodded it because I had serious concerns about notability. (This may qualify for a WP:SNOW closure, and I suggest an admin do just that). --I dream of horses (T) @ 20:24, 30 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
