Even appearing in a highly visible television show neither makes this person a high-profile person nor prevents him from being subject to WP:BLP1E or WP:BIO1E. Sure, he became a chef de partie at a Michelin-starred restaurant. Nonetheless, with all achievements he has made so far, I'm doubtful that he would meet either WP:GNG or WP:NBASIC, no matter how many sources have been used to verify info about him. Much of relevant info should be merged into List of The Great British Bake Off finalists (series 8–present)#Dylan Bachelet. George Ho (talk) 21:23, 14 January 2025 (UTC)

- Keep: People are presumed notable if they have received significant coverage in multiple published secondary sources that are reliable, intellectually independent of each other, and independent of the subject. This article fits the brief. (Heroeswithmetaphors) talk 23:21, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
- How so? Checking the sources used in the article, this person is referred as one of Bake Off contestants. Digital Spy extensively covers his appearance there and mentions his post-Bake Off career briefly—well, just one ongoing job. Also, you've created the article, didn't you? - Keep. Enough coverage in independent sources that goes beyond routine coverage of the TV show in which he appeared. See e.g. the NYT [1] [2] [3], the Guardian [4], the Times [5], the Telegraph [6], Michelin [7], etc. Astaire (talk) 18:56, 15 January 2025 (UTC)
- Keep. I thought we generally keep the last three finalists on major reality television shows. Bearian (talk) 04:44, 17 January 2025 (UTC)
- What do you mean? Most of finalists, including winners, aren't independently notable and don't have their own articles. See List of The Great British Bake Off finalists (series 8–present) and past discussion at Talk:The Great British Bake Off that transpired the creation of the list. George Ho (talk) 09:57, 17 January 2025 (UTC)
- Keep. The article needs major help. Literally it's five sentences long and one of those sentences is about his A-Levels? But he clearly has gotten outsize attention for a non-winner. GBBO does have other non-winner breakout stars we have an article about, and many actual winners who don't have an article. Valereee (talk) 18:01, 18 January 2025 (UTC)
