AfDs for this article:

Fails WP:GNG and WP:NFOOTBALL. This article was nominated just over a half decade ago and was kept on the grounds that he was on an MLS team, but the guidelines clearly state that you have to appear in a fully pro league match (or a competitive cup match that feature two fully pro teams) or in an international match for a senior national team. This player hasn't done it, therefore the article still fails. – Michael (talk) 02:23, 14 April 2014 (UTC)
I am also nominating the following article for the same reason:
- Spencer Wadsworth (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)
- Richard Asante (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)

- Delete all - fail WP:GNG and WP:NFOOTBALL. GiantSnowman 12:02, 14 April 2014 (UTC)
- Delete Lascody and Wadsworth per nom. Keep Asante which seems to pass WP:GNG.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 14:09, 14 April 2014 (UTC)
- Delete all, fails WP:NFOOTBALL and WP:GNG.
Keep Asante, which seems to satisfy WP:GNG.Doug Lascody doesn't even have a source backing up the statement that he played on an MLS team. --AmaryllisGardener talk 15:40, 14 April 2014 (UTC) - Keep Asante due to multiple coverage in reliable sources, at least enough to pass GNG. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 18:16, 14 April 2014 (UTC)
- Comment - coverage of Asante violates WP:ROUTINE and is not the "significant" coverage required by GNG. GiantSnowman 18:31, 14 April 2014 (UTC)

- Delete all - Players have not played in fully professional league, nor played senior international football, so failNFOOTY. No indication of any other achievements garnering significant reliable coverage to achieve GNG. @TonyTheTiger: and @AmaryllisGardener: may wish to refresh their knowledge of WP:ROUTINE, the sources provided for Asante, are all either general match reports / transfer talk, for which there is established consensus that these do not count towards GNG, or are WP:PRIMARY sources relating to his own academy. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fenix down (talk • contribs) 08:25, 15 April 2014 (UTC)
