Fails WP:GNG and WP:NFOOTBALL. This article was nominated just over a half decade ago and was kept on the grounds that he was on an MLS team, but the guidelines clearly state that you have to appear in a fully pro league match (or a competitive cup match that feature two fully pro teams) or in an international match for a senior national team.
