He has significant role in the Hisory of Bangladesh

• Weak keep - the article lacks references. I only voted keep for the claim about the mayorship, but my vote depends on the availability of a reference to back that information. • Comment Cox's Bazar may be a small town, but its with the longest beach in the world (which is already in the natural seven wonders list), and Captain Advocate Fazlul Karim started developing it as a tourist spot from the forties with his own money and money from foreign donations collected on his own identity. He had donates land worth millions for the benefit and well being of the people of Cox's Bazar. So people should know him. May be the article can be edited, as I am not experienced in doing so. I have news paper cuttings, his personal diaries etc to support them. If people do not know him, how can we tell them by printing books while politicians are always snatching the credits for others' work. But I don't know how to present them. Please advice me on this. Great. I think everyone agrees here that Mr. Karim is notable. All we need are references for the article. Newspaper cuttings are fine as reference, just mention the news article title, (author name if available), date and the name of the news paper. --Ragib (talk) 19:27, 16 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

• Keep - and allow time for sources to be found. The other issues can be dealt with through editting. And if kept, the name needs to be changed to conform to the manual of style.
