Unnecessary and unhelpful dab page: not a standard form of title, so an editor creating an article for another writer of same surname would not think to add an entry here. There is already a Berners-Lee surname page which navigates to the three name-holders for whom we have articles. (My understanding had been that disambiguation pages were discussed at MfD rather than AfD, but a nomination there was correctly closed as "wrong venue".) PamD 06:17, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • @Boleyn:where is the statistical evidence though to prove the search term "is not likely"?     • "There is already a Berners-Lee surname page which navigates to the three name-holders for whom we have articles" the links at the disambiguation are to sub-sections of the articles, which isn't the same as Berners-Lee

        • @Shhhnotsoloud: no it wasn't an attack on PamD, more of an observation of the actual effect of PamD being a cause of some misery for me, by (i) PamD's being in contrary to the redirect as a cause of (ii), (ii) the dopamine system is the reward circuit of the brain, and PamD's response isn't very rewarding considering I was feeling the need to reward myself (pleased with myself) to have created the redirect (iii) PamD's username is a part anagram of D(o)Pam(ine) (which caused my mind to perceive a connexion (c.f.   • @Coolabahapple and Shhhnotsoloud: you're both wrong to think that, neither of you must have looked at where the links arrive at i.e. Berners-Lee writings isn't a duplicate, Berners-Lee is as the definition shows a list of names which contains links to individuals, i.e. the links arrive at the head of the pages. This would be for people who want to know about the individuals firstly. Berners-Lee writings had links which arrive at the works of the people, which is for people who want only to know about the thoughts, influence, importance of the people i.e. their work . writings.
