- The reference is originally from Dictionary of National Biography which is a high quality reliable source. The wikisource site is directly copying it because it is in the public domain, Atlantic306 (talk) 15:42, 29 October 2022 (UTC)
- Keep. Inclusion in a national biographical dictionary is enough for notability via WP:ANYBIO. The modern dictionary has a long article on him, available via Wikipedia Library, with the surname spelled "Agas". "Benjamin Agas" finds multiple pages of hits in Google Books. - Keep per WP:ANYBIO as per Espresso Addict. Possibly move to "Agas" spelling. Jahaza (talk) 20:25, 3 November 2022 (UTC)
