This IP has been blocked 10 times, and vandalism often begins upon the previous block's expiration regardless of length (not with the last 1-year block, but the it expired in July, vandalism began when the school year started). The IP is registered to the school district of LaCrosse, WI. I've checked some other IPs in this range and haven't found anything else.

I reverted some vandalism by this IP some time ago and I kept an eye on it after noticing the long history of vandalism. I thought it was unusual that this specific IP was the only one causing trouble (and I suspect it is the same person), so I decided that it was time to end this.

Vandalistic edits starting as early as December 2004. Edits appear to have been persistently vandalistic. Going by WHOIS information, the IP is registered to the school district of La Crosse, Wisconsin (U.S.). 11 blocks, and is currently on a 1-year schoolblock. However, as this IP has previously been on a 1-year schoolblock, and a 6-month block prior to that, it's clear that vandalism will continue when this user is unblocked. As it is a school district, we can reasonably expect a response.
