Help me!
Please help me obtain permission (via my Username email vs my personal email) to use an image I found on the web (if necessary). I hope to display it on my first Wikipedia page! and cite the owner. So I ran this Google image search for images "intended for reuse". From there I selected this image that appears on this webpage which appears to belong to Debra Arconti the likely owner. However, I also found this copyright notice "Copyright © 2015 Ricky Arconti www.CRINTERACTIVELLC.com" on the page footer which appears to be a relative.
Hope that all makes sense. Thank you in advance for helping with my first Wikipedia question! Whirled Peace (talk) 23:46, 28 June 2015 (UTC)
- You will have to ask the Arcontis to release that image under a free license that allows everybody to re-use and modify it for any purpose, including commercial purposes. WP:Requesting copyright permission gives advice on how to do that, including a standard release form Ricky Arconti can use. You may also want to make sure that Ricky Arconti indeed holds the copyright for that specific image, and that the tag doesn't just refer to the website as a whole. Ok thanks Huon, I'll request their permission. As for my email anonymity, I found Emailing_users but can I somehow email non-users for example FROM: Whirled_Peace@wikipedia.org? OR: Should I setup an email address like Whirled_Peace@gmail.com? Whirled Peace (talk) 03:05, 29 June 2015 (UTC)

- You cannot give your emails an "official Wikipedia look"; you'll have to use a personal email address. Whether you set up one specifically for this purpose or whether you use one you already have is your decision. On an unrelated note, the "emailing users" functionality also requires both sides to have personal email addresses; the advantage is that users can be emailed without publishing their email addresses (the recipient will be told the sender's address, but not vice versa). Help me!
@I dream of horses: Greetings from a 1st timer on my 1st article, I finished my article and thought I was supposed to rename (move) it before requesting approval. Now it appears to be approved but my Sandbox button points here https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Whirled_Peace/sandbox&redirect=no with a redirect to it Reiki share. How do I get a new Sandbox?
I also want to create 2 new Redirect articles called Reiki circle and Reiki exchange that both redirect to Reiki share but I can't find a "Create new article" button? I've since learned that multiple Test pages can exist under Sandbox\Test1 and Sandbox\Test2 Thanks! Whirled Peace (talk) 15:23, 8 July 2015 (UTC)
- Fixed I deleted the redirect from User:Whirled Peace/sandbox to Reiki circle. Joseph2302 (talk) 19:00, 8 July 2015 (UTC)
Workplace mobbing article?
I notice you are drafting User:Whirled Peace/Workplace mobbing. It is just not viable. Workplace mobbing already exists as a section in mobbing and there is no point in separating it out as a separate article. The workplace mobbing redirect takes you right there anyway.--Penbat (talk) 09:02, 9 September 2015 (UTC)
Thanks for the suggestion Penbat, I'm new to Wikipedia. There's plenty of material for a whole article on the subject of Workplace mobbing. I envisioned that small Mobbing#In_the_workplace section with a link Main article: Workplace mobbing. Should I simply modify and greatly expand the Mobbing#In_the_workplace section into many subtopics until it deserves it's own article? Thanks, Whirled Peace (talk) 02:22, 11 September 2015 (UTC)
