Bad apples
I have reworked the Bad apples article to make it more neutral. It's a good piece, but could use some more work. If you clean this up some more before July 12, I would list it at Template:Did_you_know_nominations. --evrik (talk) 17:11, 8 July 2020 (UTC)
- Yes, good job for making it more general/neutral, I admit I made a mistake by making it so exclusive to police. Thanks for helping to fix it and making the police part into the sub-section, that definitely made it a lot cleaner. I've already added a few better citations and will definitely work on it more for the next few days. Thank you very much! Uelly (talk) 17:20, 8 July 2020 (UTC)

Hello, Uelly
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Govvy, and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, Be gay, do crime, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.
If you wish to contest the deletion:
- Remove the text that looks like this:
{{proposed deletion/dated...}}
- Click the button.
If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Govvy}}
. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!

DYK for Bad apples
On 19 July 2020, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Bad apples, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the "bad apples" metaphor has changed from a warning not to interact with corrupt individuals to a claim that bad apples are not representative of an entire group? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Bad apples. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Bad apples), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
