What ?
[1]. You are accusing me of something that i didn't do - i expect you to apologize. In case you haven't noticed, Mr. Davis, i'm doing a lot for Strasbourg here, not against. RCS 17:48, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
Sorry, I did not notice, except that you refered to one article in Le Taurillon. But you mention two articles about replacing the EP by a university without refering to the response that appeared in Le Monde. When I find it, i will insert it there. And I thought you kept on deleting my clarification in the infobox about the parliament having its seat in Stbg. But it seems it was JLogan. That being the case, I retract my critique. But if you really want to help Strasbourg, then please look at the arguments for it, which incidentally are not at all for the sake of Strasbourg per se, but are for the sake of democracy, freedom, human rights and reconciliation in Europe and the world. Simply put, if we ever want to have sustainable world peace, then it most probably will have to be via the application of democracy and human rights to the global political architecture. And since the world is by definition supranational, and since Strasbourg is the only place in the world that incarnates supranational democracy and human rights, then it is obvious that the world will look at Strasbourg when it tries to build some version of supranational democracy and human rights.
It is likely that schoolchildren in the year 3000, assuming we exist and the world is at peace, will learn that the world they live in found its first inspiration in Strasbourg since it was the first place in human history which implemented democracy and human rights on a supranational level. democracyengineer 20:50, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
