Speedy Delete
I had a "Speedy Delete" put on my Russian Sculptures page, but Malcolm saved it! --Tkbwik (talk) 14:14, 26 December 2008 (UTC)
Hello, Tkbwik. Thank you for your kind message. It was a pleasure to work on this article and, yes, you did the legwork of providing the materials from which to build it. The sculpture is quite a powerful piece of work, isn't it?
You asked about talk pages. Yes, talk pages are for 'talking' about improvements to articles and in user space, for talking to users. You did indeed put your message on the right page to talk to me. The red text in the heading of your message was because it was formatted so to link to an article by the name of 'Thank you- Russian Sculptures page rescued', that of course does not exist so it was red (if it had existed, it would have been blue). I have removed the link now.
I glad to have been of help. I enjoyed working on that article. Kind regards, --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 14:24, 26 December 2008 (UTC)
Jack Cover refs
Hi. I saw your question at Talk:Jack Cover. Refs can be named and referenced again (shortcut WP:REFNAME). I have named your ref at Jack Cover. Feel free to ask me any other questions you may have. Happy editing! Flatscan (talk) 05:02, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
Dear Flatscan... many thanks for that! Funny old world!... is this just a coincidence? I posted my "how do I?" back in March 09.... and haven't thought about that issue again until today, when I again wanted to use one ref in two places... and lo and behold... your helpful advice arrived on the day I needed it! Cool. Tkbwik (talk) 22:00, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
The article Chan Chich Airstrip has been proposed for deletion. The proposed-deletion notice added to the article should explain why.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Meatsgains (talk) 19:46, 26 September 2012 (UTC)
Doyle article deletion: clam down...
Message added 16:57, 22 July 2013 (UTC). You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.
Now, really, who is acting like the infant now? Nobody is out to get you. So really, calm down. You sent me a pissy message, I gave you a reasoned argument, and four and a half months later you send me another pissy message! Motes and beams, my friend. TuckerResearch (talk) 19:51, 8 December 2013 (UTC)
- PS - I have just added the story you found to the Non-canonical Sherlock Holmes works page. Hope that helps! TuckerResearch (talk) 19:57, 8 December 2013 (UTC)

Rebecca Jones astronomer moved to draftspace
Hello! I have moved this article to draftspace since it isn't ready for mainspace. I think you are right about the subject, but we need to work on it before it will be ready. I will do what I can, and we should notify associated projects. {{u|zchrykng}} {T|C}
