I have been asked to leave a message here from my Dad. My Dad died today but he told me that during his illness he had made good friends here, Jeanne and Goodday, as well as others and would like to thank everone. Thank you. Can someone please tell me what to do with his page?
- Oh, I'm so sad and sorry to hear this. Please accept my deepest condolences. Your dad will be greatly missed by all of us here at Wikipedia. He was a kind, generous and wonderful person.I'm so sorry.--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 05:43, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
- I, too, am very sad to hear this news, please accept my condolences. I can take care of Titch's page to ensure it remains secure. I understand you have much to deal with at this difficult time, but if you have a moment, I wonder if you could email me at Rockpocket_at_gmail_dot_com. Rockpocket 08:00, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
- He is a loss to the WIkipedia community, my condolences to you and your family. To add to that, he was very loyal to his friends, he wanted to help them even if it caused him stress. That was a great virtue. Both my parents died of cancer, one suddenly and unexpectedly so I have some idea of what you will be going through. I hope the tributes of your father's many friends on WIkipedia will be a part of your memories of his life. --Snowded (talk) 09:22, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
- You have been & remain so, in my thoughts, Titch.
To Titch's son : My deepest condolences to your family. Always remember, as his son, Titch lives on in you. GoodDay (talk) 17:48, 21 February 2009 (UTC)

I just noticed this very sad update. My thoughts are with your family, and think, even from my abbreviated communications via wikipedia, that it came through strongly that Titch was a very decent person. DDStretch (talk) 23:53, 28 February 2009 (UTC)
- Utmost sympathy, deepest respects. It's always sad when respected editors pass away. — neuro(talk) 02:21, 1 March 2009 (UTC)
- Alas! He was the kind of editor that Wikipedia needs. And we were only just getting to know him. What a pity! -- Derek Ross | Talk 02:51, 1 March 2009 (UTC)
Please accept my condolences and my thanks for his work on former Scottish football players, particularly Celtic players (eg Bobby Lennox). He did a lot of good work on a lot of subjects that needed improvement and deserve that recognition. I hope this work gave him a sense of satisfaction at what must have been a very difficult time for him and yourselves. Jmorrison230582 (talk) 09:51, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

- I can't say I'm familiar with Titch or his contributions, but I'm sorry to hear of this unfortunate news and it is always an unhappy event to lose a valued editor in these circumstances. —Anonymous DissidentTalk 10:57, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
Just came here to catch up. So sorry to hear this news. My sincere condolences to you. Titch was a true gentleman. To have enjoyed his company, even for so short a time, was my good fortune. Cofion cynnes, Titch. Daicaregos (talk) 17:18, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
