Sockpuppet investigation

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. This has been addressed on the Aliza Ayaz talk page. We were not aware that multiple people from the same team are not allowed to use the same wikipedia account. Initially, all 35 of our team members had the log ins and made edits over time, and used the same connection and workspaces across the country, hence the image of the SPI claim. Dear Esowteric, thanks for helping me out. It's taken me a while to get the hang of everything here! Sorry for having to bother you again and again. I think we are "there" too. I believe it should hopefully be okay as this article was therefore published and had been online for a while? And most things are verified. If you look at, for example, Hareem Farooq or Iqra Aziz wikipedia articles, their references are from similar sources - DAWN, ARY NEWS, The News International which Aliza Ayaz has. I would say another big source of genuine notability would be from the UN World Urban Forum reference. I assume that it is because of unverified (perhaps un-serious edits) have led to this. I really hope we can get some experienced people to agree or help us improve this article. As long as it isn't deletion - it was a lot of hard work. I've been editing at Wikipedia since 2006, and I have to say that this is the very first time that I've had to deal with ... what can I call it? ... difficulty with new page patrols (though I always make sure that I have sufficient references in place before taking an article out of my sandbox). The number of years you have been on Wikipedia shouldn't influence whether the subject is notable or not(I also clarified this on the talk page of the article as well). Thank you so very much for raising this. We were not aware. We are slowly getting the hang of Wikipedia and amongst our many commitments, will try our best to learn here. We will move to meet the condition: "a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner" by changing log in and also getting in touch to edit username.

Close paraphrase of Career section

The Career section of Aliza Ayaz is a close paraphrase or direct copy in parts, and it needs looking at. Short quotations can be used directly, in "quotes", with a reference after each quotation. Dear GeneralNotability, I am not sure if I should disclose my full name here but I can confirm I am the same person who has maintained single point access (Since we were made aware of the Wikipedia policies which we were unknowingly violating i.e multiple people are not allowed to use multiple account, declaring COI (and I am still not sure of the procedure), that we cannot use our organisation names.) I am very pleased to see the help that you and others have provided in guiding me to improve this article. If you look at the recent edits, I have tried my very best to strictly adhere to Wiki rules and improve the article. I am a single person and I am a bit overwhelmed so please excuse any errors I make. I have time and time again welcome help and suggestions so please feel free to do so as well. I understand that my account has been blocked but I am not sure now what the next step is? I was planning to request a username change after resolving the edits/issues on the Aliza Ayaz page because then how would others identify me? And I especially wanted to avoid further confusion as to where else I am involved. I promise I am trying my best but could you please guide me in terms of: 1. Should I create a new account immediately and should I delete this account? Sorry I am just a bit confused and want to do what's right. 2. Are there any other policies/rules I should be careful about based on my activity in the past day? (since that is when I have mainly alone gotten access and I am continually informing the rest of the team as to why this is so and what the Wikipedia rules are. No one in my team seems to have faced such an issue before and it's also not very helpful to not see my team in person and when people don't respond to the group chat. We are also young student staff and our team members change quite often (I'd say every 6 months). I nor anyone else were personally linked to Aliza Ayaz although I imagine someone may have been a friend as that is inevitable. I am afraid I personally don't have a record of edits over time as this has never been part of our procedure and tbh, it is far away from one of our priorities since we are constantly bombarded by other work. Of course, things will change now and I am making sure we all learn and be careful. I really doubt I will be able to track every person who has used this account over time and identify who did which edit so I am very sorry to not be helpful in that area. How can I improve it please? I am not sure what "Clerk denied" means? 4. Would it be helpful to organise a Microsoft Teams/Zoom meeting with some of our team members? __ Dear GeneralNotability, I don't think I am allowed to edit, but I actually asked on some talk page whether it's worth getting rid of information which doesn't have as suitable references to avoid deletion - I was thinking that out of the awards section, besides the awards by UCL and Oliver Hare, the other's do not have an article on the internet so perhaps worth deleting just to comply by Wikipedia rules? I am not sure. What do you think? From what I understand, the problem in referencing some of the information originally presented plus the whole username/multiple use/untraceable edits (by me at least, as to who did what)/unserious use has led to this deletion tag. I hope it is clear now. I aim to coordinate all future edits to other Wikipedia pages closely as I have now received the go ahead to do this independently. I hope to make useful and update amends on other Wikipedia pages about UK-based organisations, universities and alumni so would really appreciate the opportunity to learn from your tips, to then educate and train myself to be a resourceful editor!

I also noted how you wished to hear about the relationship between 3 accounts (uclies, AZjommma and this account). I am aware uclies is the engineering society at UCL. I personally do not have access but someone from the Union should. I do not know who AZjomma is but have pinged the team group chat to tell me if anyone knows. Imo I don't think that's a SU based account. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if no one came forward since everyone has been made aware and scolded for any participation in the misuse of access to our accounts (especially social media, we have received some complaints about our official instagram accounts being used for things for e.g and now these wikipedia edits) But I assure this won't happen at least on my part, on my watch and on this account. Also, I read up some wikipedia policies re: neutral point of view and others. I think I can see some of the issues with the article now. I should probably get rid of the quotes in the personal life section or get rid of it completely? Perhaps that can help keep the article where it is? I am trying to make sense of how to improve my work over time so please do give me a chance to improve it and address the deletion and close association tags to keep the article. Hi and thanks. Hopefully an admin will get back to you. I may be wrong, as I am no expert here, but I think that you should avoid using the word "union" (etc) in your new chosen username. Note to adminYamla I called up the UCL Student Union and they replied there is no such team dedicated to creating Wikipedian pages of Alumni. The wiki user:StudentUnion claims that they don't know who Az.jooma but if you read their message left on Esowteric's talk page here --≥ [1] They claimed that they confirm that it was KGS staff and one of their "ex-colleague" even spoke with them regarding editing. Moreover, I am happy to provide proof in form of an email to the admins(forwarded from the student union cell at UCL). This is a serious case of false representation of StudentUnion at a university like UCL. Should be dealt very seriously. Their story doesn't add up. Studentsunion, I'm not taking any position on the deletion of the article, I'm only concerned about your account's and the possibility it is shared (you have said "we" an awful lot). If you confirm that this account will only be used by one person and you pick a username which a renamer is happy with, I have no objection to you being unblocked.
