DYK for Papa (2024 film)

On 2 January 2025, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Papa (2024 film), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that multiple scenes in Papa feature cotton-tree flowers, even though it was not scripted and the falling cotton simply kept drifting into the shot? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Papa (2024 film). You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Papa (2024 film)), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

DYK for Blossoms Under Somewhere

On 8 January 2025, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Blossoms Under Somewhere, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the director-screenwriter of Blossoms Under Somewhere joined Telegram groups that sell used lingerie to conduct field research? The Witch (TV series)

I went ahead and published The Witch (TV series) to avoid any further delay. So I hope you don't consider this rude. I wouldn't be offended if someone did similar to a draft I marked for review for similar technical reasons. 𝙳.𝟷𝟾𝚝𝚑 (𝚃𝚊𝚕𝚔) 23:39, 12 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hey D, sorry, but I do feel that way. I clearly marked the draft as under review, and the notice allowed for a 12-hour window for the review process. It was only less than two hours after the redirect page sharing the same article title in the mainspace was deleted before I could proceed with the review. I do not see any actual delays here, nor any urgency to move an upcoming television series to mainspace in such a short time. I even did some copyediting and expanded the article during the process, so I see no reason why this review should not be counted under my belt. If you had done so after 12 hours, I would be really grateful and have appreciated your assistance, but it is only 3:10 now. I really do not see any legitimate reason for this to happen. Please avoid taking over others' reviews until the 12-hour period has ended. —Prince of EreborThe Book of Mazarbul 03:10, 13 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
    Alright and noted that. 𝙳.𝟷𝟾𝚝𝚑 (𝚃𝚊𝚕𝚔) 07:46, 13 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

NEED HELP WITH AN ARTICLE

Hi Prince Erebor, I hope you’re doing well. I really appreciate the review you wrote on the article I submitted. From your feedback, it seems the main issue with the article is the references I’ve included. Most of the sources I was able to find relevant to the subject are from Baidu Baike. I’ll work on finding more reliable and diverse sources to improve the article. I would truly appreciate your assistance and guidance in making it strong enough for publication. Thank you so much for your time and support! CHIBEZA17 (talk) 10:13, 13 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hey CHIBEZA17, that is right. Most of the sources currently in the draft are either primary sources related to the awards or companies associated with the topic, or they come from Baidu Baike, which is not a reliable source. You might try looking for news articles or book coverage on the subject. Feel free to reach out to me here once you have completed the rewrite. I would be happy to take a look. —Prince of EreborThe Book of Mazarbul 16:24, 13 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you

The Chinese Barnstar

The Article Rescue Barnstar
For preventing the deletion of Hong Nga Court by finding related sources and proving its notability. Thank you. Ilovefood123123 (talk) 14:38, 13 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
  • OMG a double barnstar!!! Thank you so much for not just one but two barnstars, Ilovefood123123! Your kind words truly light me up. I am also impressed by your efforts so far, especially the articles related to the University of Hong Kong. You know I am actually a member of Hornell Hall, and I feel a bit ashamed that I have never considered writing an article for my hall after seeing your well-composed Eliot Hall and May Hall. Thanks again, and I am really looking forward to your amazing articles about Hong Kong as well! Happy editing!! —Prince of EreborThe Book of Mazarbul 16:36, 13 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your kind words and appreciation on my work. I might see if I could create a new article for your hall, which of course you would be much more familiar with and would be best if you could ensure that the information I scavenge are up to date and correct. Ilovefood123123 (talk) 16:51, 13 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Ilovefood123123, well, I do not have any books about the history of HKU, so if I were to write about it, I would probably need to rely solely on online resources as well. If you are interested and have the time to write it, I would be very excited to see your work! —Prince of EreborThe Book of Mazarbul 17:29, 13 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
