re: family "cultural references"
Please feel free to re-add the "cultural reference" sections to the Family Guy episodes IF you follow our policies of no original research and verificaiton. These policies mean that material in Wikipedia articles must first have been published in a reliable source and that we must give credit to that source. Thanks! Notnotkenny (talk) 00:40, 10 March 2009 (UTC) (better known as User talk:TheRedPenOfDoom)
- Before you return "cultural reference" sections, make sure that you provide appropriate actual citations, not just request for citations. See our policy WP:V, specifically the section WP:BURDEN which states: "The burden of evidence lies with the editor who adds or restores material. ... Any material lacking a reliable source may be removed, but editors might object if you remove material without giving them sufficient time to provide references" (emph added). And while you may object on the talk page, 1) you have misread the policy if you believe there is a requirement on my part to have flagged the items before removal and 2) you think that policy gives you some type of right to return the material to the article without providing a source and 3) I consider a month since the first removal "sufficient time" for someone to have found any potential source considering the encyclopedic value of the material removed. Good luck in your research to find sources! Notnotkenny (talk) 12:22, 10 March 2009 (UTC) (aka User talk:TheRedPenOfDoom)

Disambiguation link notification for November 19
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Dreamlanders, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Pecker and Hairspray (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
