Pachinko question

Hi, I've got a question regarding one addition of yours to Pachinko: is the described children's version with marbles used in Taiwan only, or also in Japan, or only in Japan? Thanks and cheers, AxelBoldt 17:49, 22 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome. Just doing my small part to clean up Wikipedia. Rpyle731talk 17:40, 9 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Cooper and Surly

Thanks for your message on my talk page. I will explain myself - I reverted your edit to Surly because the Wiktionary link is there to define the term "Surly". The Wiktionary box can be found near the top of the page on the right hand side. I reverted your edits to Jeff Cooper as I agree with user "Dmol". The edit content has little to do with Cooper and more to do with the rifle. It reads like an advertisement for the Ruger M77 and Cooper's training academy. The training academy can be wikilinked in the "See also" section and the information relating to the Ruger M77 belongs on the Ruger M77's page, not Cooper's. The M77 could also be linked in the "See also" section. Of course, this is just my opinion. If you disagree (which I think you will), you are welcome to begin a discussion on Cooper's talk page and other editors will offer their opinion. I will be implementing these changes until a consensus can be reached - please do not revert before there is a consensus. In the future, you should try to be less confrontational and angry (as your ALL CAPS words would imply) about edits. Wikipedia is open to everyone, and if you're not prepared to have your work critiqued by any other user, you shouldn't be editing. Please see WP:AGF and WP:EQ for tips on interacting with fellow users. Trut-h-urts man (talk) 02:33, 21 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Well, it was a weird sight to see someone following your contributions and undo 2 of them and check on a third...all in one day and not leave an explanation on the undoing then that becomes confrontational. Yes, thanks for the explanation on your edit in regards to Surly. I guess if Wiktionary link is sufficient, then I wouldn't contest it since it is what Wikipedia wants according to you. And thanks for correct editing on Hollenbeck. And the third one is Jeff Cooper in which I already had a discussion before the second undoing. But, still no one to disprove that the "Gunsite Scout Rifle" would not be considered his legacy. I also added other well known firearms editors as references to show that they do see the Gunsite Scout as a rebirth and culmination of Cooper's teachings. So I am not reverting, but improved on my writing by being short and specific and having the proper factual references. I hope you can see that it does follow his legacy. (Thanks. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Edit war warning

Hey - the normal thing to do when you are reverted is open a discussion on Talk, and work through the problem. Please see WP:BRD. Thanks.

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Amgen. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Jytdog (talk) 01:19, 4 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This is the problem about Wikipedia, there are people who feel entitled in protecting "their baby article" and feel strongly about anyone editing/contributing to it. Jytdog your information is wrong and shows your ignorance about it. Revelance on Amgen sponsorship and hosting scholarships and schools? Its Science and its benefactor wants to do not just advertisement but to groom/promote new scientists. You only see it as promo, but you don't see the educational side of sponsorships. Ignorance is not an excuse to delete/revert others CITED work. You can sit and guardog your page all you want, Wikipedia relies on others to contribute. I saw your talk page, you have the habit of reverting other people's cited work. I keep citing more sources and you keep deleting it and enjoy it, and on top of that you cited wrong information on The Wallis Annenberg Building its about two blocks north of Exposition Park where the California Science Center is. Please use Google Maps, research and enjoy your addiction of being an almighty Wikipedian. I stopped contributing for a long while due to people like you. I just might stop for good. Enjoy Jytdog and stop Trolling. Neoking (talk) 16:38, 4 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
