Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Battle of Bitlis, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Mustafa Kemal (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut-and-paste-move repair holding pen. Thank you. - Yes, I know it was a bad idea, that's why I reverted it myself. Can you change the names for me? I don't know how. HouseOfArtaxiad (talk) 19:36, 23 September 2013 (UTC)
- Already done - at least i think i did. The page is currently present at Alexander Khatisian, let me know if that should change. Of course you can also try doing so yourself - there is a nice help page available that describes page moves in a format that can actually be considered readable (Compared to the full Manual on moving pages) Excirial (Contact me,Contribs) 19:48, 23 September 2013 (UTC)
I see that you are relatively new here. I have noticed today your edit, which I believe only serves one purpose - it promotes your point of view and does not improve Wikipedia in any way. Additionally, at the talk page of the article one of your opponents already started a discussion about the illustrations, and it would be much more productive from your side to participate in the discussion rather than to make such edits. Unfortunately I have seen too many Armenian and Azeri editors who started with such edits, then went to edit warrings, and eventually resorted to the battleground mentality and had to be blocked. Please try to avoid this path.--Ymblanter (talk) 19:42, 25 September 2013 (UTC)

Hello HouseOfArtaxiad,
Welcome to Wikipedia. I know you're good at expanding articles. I just created an article on the notorious murderer of Krikor Zohrab...Cherkes Ahmet. Can you help me expand it? I am having some difficulty with this. Proudbolsahye (talk) 19:11, 17 October 2013 (UTC)

Your topic ban from AA2
As you know you were banned for six months from Armenia and Azerbaijan topics on 15 November 2013. You would still see that notice above if you had not removed it. An editor has complained on my talk page that you are violating your ban. In particular I see this edit you made on 13 February on List of massacres in Turkey, which is one of the articles that led to your sanction. Can you explain why should not be blocked for violating your ban? EdJohnston (talk) 14:17, 21 February 2014 (UTC)
- You've made no plausible answer, and you have continued to edit on topics related to Armenia, so you are blocked for two weeks. Your topic ban under WP:ARBAA2 from all topics related to Armenia or Azerbaijan has now been made indefinite. The ban covers all pages of Wikipedia, both article and talk. A related discussion took place here on my talk page. EdJohnston (talk) 04:12, 25 February 2014 (UTC)
Blocked for topic ban violation
Reminder to administrators: In March 2010, ArbCom adopted a procedure prohibiting administrators "from reversing or overturning (explicitly or in substance) any action taken by another administrator pursuant to the terms of an active arbitration remedy, and explicitly noted as being taken to enforce said remedy, except: (a) with the written authorization of the Committee, or (b) following a clear, substantial, and active consensus of uninvolved editors at a community discussion noticeboard (such as WP:AN or WP:ANI). If consensus in such discussions is hard to judge or unclear, the parties should submit a request for clarification on the proper page." Administrators who reverse an arbitration enforcement block, such as this one, without clear authorisation will be summarily desysopped.
As explained in more detail above. WP:ARBAA2 provides that "Standard discretionary sanctions are authorized for all pages related to Armenia, Azerbaijan, or related ethnic conflicts, broadly interpreted." This means that anything to do with *either* Armenia or Azerbaijan is covered. It appears that nearly every one of your edits since December 2013 has been in violation of your ban. Your six-month ban from AA2 has been extended to indefinite. EdJohnston (talk) 04:32, 25 February 2014 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
