Coinrule review
Hi Guessitsavis. I was looking at the Coinrule article just now when I noticed you marked it as reviewed a few hours ago without further tagging. It did not seem like it met the standard for organisations and companies to me, and I was planning to either draftify or nominate it for deletion after I've had time for a proper BEFORE (depending on the results), but as you have reviewed it I wanted to get your opinion before proceeding, and confirm whether you've found some suitable references. Alpha3031 (t • c) 04:16, 30 September 2024 (UTC)
- @Alpha3031
- Hey there. On my initial once over I thought I saw sufficient independent sources to suggest notability, but after I gave it a good review, I agree with you. Once of the main sources was user-sourced (Forbes), which I didn't notice when I saw it. Thanks for catching that! Sincerely, Guessitsavis (she/they) (Talk) 11:33, 30 September 2024 (UTC)
Notice!
I had to notice that on this page, Draft:Resuvonia, You have declined the article. I did NOT make this page, but when I was editing this page, you declined the article. I am not saying that this article is worthy, but I am just informing that I added a reference and added maintenance tags. Cooldudeseven7 (Discuss over a cup of tea?) 11:52, 2 October 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, but the references still do not support the notability of the subject, hence it was declined. Sincerely, Guessitsavis (she/they) (Talk) 11:57, 2 October 2024 (UTC)
- Got it. Thank you! Cooldudeseven7 (Discuss over a cup of tea?) 11:59, 2 October 2024 (UTC)

Responding to edit requests
Hi! Thank you for your efforts in reducing the backlog of requested edits. Remember to change ans=no
to ans=yes
in the template code, so requests that are answered or pending user input won't fill up the backlog. User scripts like User:Jackmcbarn/editProtectedHelper and User:Terasail/Edit Request Tool can help you do so automatically. Best, NotAGenious (talk) 11:05, 18 October 2024 (UTC)

Helpful advice
Thank you for the advice on my new page on Draft:Portrait of George Griffin Stonestreet. I was foolishly trying to help a non-Wikipedian friend and took his basic text and formatted it. I will try to clean it up in in a non-plagiaristic way. StewE17 (talk) 14:08, 24 October 2024 (UTC)

I have sent you a note about a page you reviewed
Hi Guessitsavis. Thank you for your work on Werapong Prapha. Another editor, Voorts, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:
You should not mark a page as reviewed if you nominate it for CSD.
To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Voorts}}
. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

- @Voorts: My apologies, I think Twinkle just automatically marked it when I CSD'd it, and it completely slipped my memory to unreview it. Thanks for telling me! Signed, Guessitsavis (she/they) Talk 22:39, 10 November 2024 (UTC)
- There's a box you can uncheck in Twinkle preferences to prevent automatically marking pages as patrolled when placing a CSD tag. Best, voorts (talk/contributions) 22:41, 10 November 2024 (UTC)
- Yeah, I just found that while digging through my preferences. Not sure how it got turned on though. Thanks again! Signed, Guessitsavis (she/they) Talk 22:43, 10 November 2024 (UTC) (edited 22:44, 10 November 2024 (UTC))

Declining drafts for lack of reliable sources
Hi there, here from Draft:Jocelyn Saunders (nee Muir), which got asked about on the help desk. I can see why you gave this the WP:RS decline, but if you're going to do this for something that doesn't have explicitly non-rs sources, can you make sure you give a more substantial personalized decline reason for the submitter? All they can do is look at this and think "but these are reliable sources", so they're just going to be confused. -- asilvering (talk) 20:14, 11 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hey, unfortunately my memory has been completely shot lately, but looking over it, I think it was more of an ILC and notability problem. Irregardless, I'll definitely try my best to explain my declinments of drafts in the future. Thank you for letting me know! Signed, Guessitsavis (she/they) Talk 02:24, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
- If it's a notability problem, make sure you use the regular notability decline rather than the unreliable sources decline (which implies that the subject is notable, but the sources are crap). Cheers! And thanks for reviewing. -- asilvering (talk) 02:27, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
New page reviewer granted
Hi Guessitsavis, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the new page reviewer user right to your account. This means you now have access to the page curation tools and can start patrolling pages from the new pages feed. If you asked for this at requests for permissions, please check back there to see if your access is time-limited or if there are other comments.
This is a good time to re-acquaint yourself with the guidance at Wikipedia:New pages patrol. Before you get started, please take the time to:
- Add Wikipedia talk:New pages patrol/Reviewers to your watchlist to follow NPP-related discussions
- If you use Twinkle, configure it to log your CSDs and PRODs
- If you can read any languages other than English, add yourself to the list of reviewers with language proficiencies
You can find a list of other useful links and tools for patrollers at Wikipedia:New pages patrol/Resources. If you are ever unsure what to do, ask your fellow patrollers or just leave the page for someone else to review – you're not alone! signed, Rosguill talk 16:06, 13 November 2024 (UTC)
