User talk:GoShow

January 2013

You have been blocked from editing for a period of a fortnight for abusing multiple accounts, as  Confirmed by checkuser at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/GoShow. The checkuser also confirmed that the underlying IP was not a college IP as you claimed. Because this is the first time, this is a temporary block, but if this happens in the future, it will be indefinite. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  Reaper Eternal (talk) 17:49, 28 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

GoShow (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))

Request reason:

This is a college IP and yes multiple users have been used the labs multiple times, but remember there are confirmed users who do use multiple accounts some for the common good, some for test edit to vandalize, but if you wish to block this edit do so, as I did have an anonymous IP in not vandalizing from over the last 8 years, while moving to another state, however I do respect for Reaper Eternal and SB Harris whom I have seen over the last five years, respectively admired by the user's performance for pointing it out as it had happened, but as of this moment this account will be finished, I do have older accounts such as User: NaiPiak and must go to my orignal account, there are administrative and confirmed users which have multiple accounts in any occasion though I will not say, but I respect the test vandalism used in this function, this will be the last edit for this account and wish the best for editing.

Decline reason:

I'm declining for three reasons. First, your story about being on a college IP seems to be false based on technical evidence. Second, you admitted to at least a few sockpuppets. And finally, you're saying you won't use this account anymore anyway, so there's no point in unblocking you. Just an FYI, if your intention is to edit using yet another account, think again, as you can see we've been able to catch you at it. -- Atama 22:12, 28 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Um, the above appears to use English words, but I cannot parse it in such a way as to actually determine the overall meaning...it appears to say that you're not asking for unblock? (✉→BWilkins←✎) 20:17, 28 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Also, the IP you are editing from does not appear to be a college IP at all. —DoRD (talk) 20:24, 28 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Since you have decided to go ahead and make another sock, Going To The Outer Zones (talk · contribs), I have upped your block to indefinite. Reaper Eternal (talk) 00:38, 30 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I know the mistakes I have made, and I admit the foolishness, although, most of them I never even edited on them, on a couple and it wasn't for vandalism, as stated somewhere in the rules to not try to use one or more accounts abusively, however, huh, I used them to do right edits, and the rest was for talks, and those for the voting boxes at the bottom of each article on Wikipedia, from which is not vandalism. Unfortunately, for me, whoop de doo, The last time I got caught I was actually trying to revert vandalism on an account I made up, and yet I admit.... I should of stuck to my account! Plus, forgot to say it was me. Well, I should of told them it was me, again foolish me I did not, so damn. Forgive me. What I want to do is I like to make articles and I hope to unblock and re-edit on English Wikipedia, since I am glad the voting box below the articles have vanished, thankfully, I have been tired of those goddarn voting boxes for a while, which had nothing to do with the article;), but I admit, the foolish mistakes I have made and I would be glad to help expand some resources on other wikis while searching other resources during my spare time, whether college, work, or reunions whatever I hope can study and use my sandbox to further find sources and documents for other wikis and Wikipedia. Request reason:

Hello, I am a major contributor to wiki sites, and yes, I do enjoy working with Wikipedia, unfortunately for me, I used multiple accounts to vote, but not edit Wikipedia. I only used two accounts for good edits, I do admit, but the rest was for a voting box which I am glad that has disappeared. From the last unblock request box, was this: "I know the mistakes I have made, and I admit the foolishness, although, most of them I never even edited on them, on a couple and it wasn't for vandalism, as stated somewhere in the rules to not try to use one or more accounts abusively, however, huh, I used them to do right edits, and the rest was for talks, and those for the voting boxes at the bottom of each article on Wikipedia, from which is not vandalism. Unfortunately, User:Danger, who is an administrator, blocked the request. Although, there is a right, on Wikipedia, where it states for people who had sockpuppetry, may have an unblock request from various sock accounts, may have one more chance to edit. Thus, I replied on the talkpage of User:Danger from my college IP address a This was User:GoShow, and yes by rights under people who had sockpuppet laws, I do have one more chance and I do wish to edit, but I did not use most accounts for sockpuppetry! Most of them were votes, however, I am glad the voting box is gone, I do wish reanalyze myself and think about all the shit I have made, but yes I would like to have one more chance reanalyze myself and maybe more watch on my part. Yes, I know User:Danger is busy often, but if there is no choice, should I recreate a new account? And yes, this was a College IP address, as I stated. Otherwise, if nothing else just banned me, but I would like to edit, not with just two or three, but one. Yes, if I do become unblocked, I would wish to be monitored 24/7, as always, I know the consequences if it happens again then banned me, immediately, but I would drastically like one more chance to edit, and if it happens, as I said, you can banned me and I will no longer ask any more request. Only for this time, on here I appreciate listening to my call. GoShow (............................) 17:36, 4 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

If we need to monitor you 24/7 then you are creating a problem rather than solving one. Frankly, you don't even seem capable of posting a coherent unblock request, instead posting rambling statements like this one. I assume the "right" you refer to is meant to be the standard offer. It is not a right, just an idea that some parts of the community agree with, but it may be your last best hope of being unblocked. It requires you to cease all editing of Wikipedia under any identity for a period of about six months before requesting unblock again. I suggest you go for that as it you have very little chance of being unblocked before that. In fact if you post another unblock request like the ones you have been posting I would expect that your ability to edit your talk page will be revoked. Ian Fauer

I have never heard of, and subsequently have not shown any interest in, Ian Fauer, let alone changed anything in an article about him.

What may have contributed to this is I have changed ISP since January, therefore I now have the (fixed) IP address of the person who made the changes to the Ian Fauer article you are on about (who must have had a variable one).

September 2012

Just got a message about an edit from 2012 on the Carlos May wiki page. I'm not sure why that just showed up now, but I did not make that edit, and no one who lived at this location in 2012 is here anymore. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.109.119.102 (talk) 19:58, 25 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
