Welcome!
Howdy and welcome to Wikipedia. Thanks for your contributions! I wanted to let you know you can sign talk pages with four tildes (~~~~) which gives a name and date stamp (prefered) or with three tildes for just your name. Feel free to write a note on my talk page if you have any questions about Wikipedia. My talk page is at User_talk:Hansnesse. Again, thanks for helping out with Wikipedia! I am sticking the boilerplate welcome below since it has some good links. --Hansnesse 20:19, 22 January 2006 (UTC)

Your rollback request
Hello Evenios, I have granted rollback rights to your account in accordance with your request. Please be aware that rollback should be used to revert vandalism/spam/blatantly unconstructive edits, and that using it to revert anything else (such as by revert-warring or reverting edits you disagree with) can lead to it being removed from your account...sometimes without any warning, depending on the admin who becomes aware of any misuse. If you think an edit should require a reason for reverting, then don't use rollback and instead, use a manual edit summary. For practice, you may wish to see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback. Good luck. Acalamari 17:30, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
- Whoo hoo! thanks! Evenios (talk) 17:36, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
- You're welcome, and good work on addressing the points I raised yesterday at your first request so quickly. ;) Acalamari 17:38, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
Thanks
Thanks for your help at Sketch Reality. I've filed an SPI including a number of SPAs that all seem to be connected to promoting these non-notable Youtube shows. Burpelson AFB (talk) 01:22, 19 March 2010 (UTC)

Reverting vandalism
Hi Evenios, great job with patrolling the new changes. Just wanted to say some things. First, I noticed a little mistake with your reversions here, where you reverted a correct edit. It may have been a little mix-up while using Huggle, but nonetheless, by careful :) Secondly, make sure you only mark edits that are vandalism as vandalism. For example, I wouldn't consider this edit to be vandalism, as it isn't a deliberate attempt to harm Wikipedia; it certainly is irrelevant and doesn't belong in the article, but it was made in good faith. In these cases, you should usually revert the edit along with stating why it doesn't belong in your edit summary, along with (optional) leaving a nice message on their page rather than a message concerning vandalism. Thanks, and keep it up, ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 21:12, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
thanks ill work on that! Evenios (talk) 21:16, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
- Perfect :) Just another tip, on edits that are biased, you can click on the little arrow next to the reversion button at the upper-left in Huggle, and select the option "Biased content" among other things. This will leave a message on the editor's page regarding WP:NPOV along with reverting the edit. Thanks, ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 21:19, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
Authors blanking pages
Hi, just letting you know, if an author blanks the page he created, it's taken as a request to have the page deleted, and we tag it with {{db-blanked}}. Ian.thomson (talk) 21:55, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
thanks did not realize he blanked his own page thanks for telling me Evenios (talk) 23:42, 20 March 2010 (UTC)

Controversial biographical to svorak
It was not biographical because Svorak is a system, not a person. But don’t worry. I’ll try to find some sources. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.251.93.216 (talk) 21:58, 20 March 2010 (UTC)

AfD discussions
Hi there! I just thought I'd leave a note regarding your AfD contributions. AfDs are usually framed around recommendations from users, typically bulleted and in bold. For example, I might say:
- Delete. Fails the general notability guideline.
If you want to make a comment, preface it with Comment. This practice is useful for discussing the AfD, and also to make it easier for the closing admin to determine what the consensus is. If you're looking for any more advice, check Wikipedia:Articles for deletion#How to discuss an AfD, or drop me a line on my talk page. Thanks! -- Lear's Fool (talk | contribs) 03:56, 21 March 2010 (UTC)

My edits to Hydrosere
I saw that you reverted my edits to Hydrosere. I had explained them in the articles talk page. I hope you'll agree that they were appropriate; I realize removing several images looks like vandalism, but the images in question were only marginally appropriate to the article. For example, there was a photo of a marine algae used to illustrate the concept of "algae", although the article is focused explicitly on a freshwater habitat. I have restored my edits twice now. Please read Talk:Hydrosere, and if you agree my edits were appropriate, then could you make sure that they don't get reverted again by an overzealous anti-vandalism patrol.192.104.39.2 (talk) 21:05, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
