Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Information icon Hello, I'm Adakiko. I noticed that you recently removed content from Princess Shova Shahi of Nepal without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Please use edit summaries?

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits a summary may be quite brief.

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Adakiko (talk) 10:09, 9 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not create hoaxes on Wikipedia, as you did at Template:Country data VShojo. Doing so is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. If you would like to make test edits, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. –LaundryPizza03 (d) 16:38, 26 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Andressinha. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Edit at Mark De Man

Hi. Per WP:NOTBROKEN Centre-back and right-back are to be preferred over centre-back and right-back. Also, going forward please be sure to use an Help:Edit summary to make it easier for other editors to understand your changes. Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 07:52, 31 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

"Then why don't you look at your spelling first? "Centre-back" is spelled with a dash!" Please stay WP:CIVIL. Like you I prefer the spelling with the hyphen but both spellings are valid. Thanks for improving the wording at Mark De Man. Robby.is.on (talk) 08:01, 31 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

WP:NOTBROKEN also applies to linking "striker": striker is preferable over striker. I've fixed this at Michael Chopra. Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 09:44, 23 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Short description

In your change you added Zimbabwe; I don't know your reasoning, but short description is simply a navigation aid for mobile devices, therefore it's not necessary to add a 1980s name change, IMO. Incidentally, I see you made minor changes to Isle of Man (probaby I wrote it) - in 1980 I met a young lady in IoM who'd left her home country, not wanting to stay on under the then-new regime, and was travelling the world. A couple of months earlier I briefly worked for a man who had two nephew/niece wards, whose farmer parents had been butchered (machetes - the kids told me). They escaped as they were at boarding school. Thanks for the memories! rgds,--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 12:41, 17 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

StartOkayStop (talk) 04:38, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the advice. You see, there existed two states called "Dahomey", one was a kingdom and the other was a republic. Both of them are now part of modern Benin. People often confuse these two Dahomeys and think that only the kingdom or the republic was the true Dahomey. So, I decided to make the "Dahomey" page a disambiguation page, saying that it may refer to either the kingdom or the republic, to avoid future confusions. I didn't do anything wrong, mate. I just removed these sections because they have nothing to do with the club at all.

Hey there. Sections don't look 100% relevant but instead of removing them, please create a discussion on the talk page to gather consensus on removing them. Thanks! Fun Is Optional (talk) 06:14, 1 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Pau FC, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. Fun Is Optional (talk) 06:11, 1 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@FunIsOptional: Content removal is legitimate if it is policy-based. Dorrough618 should have explained in their edit summary the first time they removed the content. "BECAUSE IT HAS NO RELATION TO THE CLUB" is a proper explanation but all caps are not great for a WP:CIVIL exchange between editors. FunIsOptional, you twice reverted with the edit summary "section blanking". That would be suitable for obvious vandalism but at least the second time, when Dorrough618 gave an explanation, a policy-based explanation would have been appropriate.
I have re-removed the content per WP:UNDUE. Large parts are at best tangentially related. We should look into reinstating parts that are relevant. Robby.is.on (talk) 08:40, 1 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. In a recent edit to the page Sweden women's national football team, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.

For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, India, or Pakistan use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the original author of the article used.

In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. TylerBurden (talk) 07:40, 21 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. Wikipedia aims to provide a safe environment for its collaborators, and harassing other users, as you did on User:Apex Predator Gura, potentially compromises that safe environment. If you continue to harass other editors, you may be blocked from editing. Creating other user's userpages with "User:Dorrough618/Hololive Production" to call them a simp is harassment, and creating pages without their expressed consent violates their freedom of speech. DO NOT DO IT AGAIN. Zinnober9 (talk) 05:13, 22 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

What were you thinking, creating User pages for other editors against their wishes? I can not think of a valid reason for you to create these pages. This is vandalism and another editor saw it as harassment. Once your block is over, please refrain from taking things personally and going after other editors like this. I wanted to let you know, however, that I’ve proposed an article that you started, Thanouthong Kietnalonglop, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references.
