User talk:DanTD/Archive. October and November 2012

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of SEPTA Rapid transit stations, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page West Trenton Line (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Tyler City Station (Connecticut)

Hi Dan:

I have a CT railroad history website [www.tylercitystation.info] and I would like to talk to you and possibly correct some of the NY&NE content on Wikipedia.

If interested, please contact me at rrtrax2@yahoo.com.

Thanks!

Bob

I'm afraid I'm not in charge of any specific railroad article. In fact nobody on Wikipedia really is. I suggest you take this up with WikiProject:Trains and sign up with a new account. We generally welcome any new information people might have. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 22:23, 3 November 2012 (UTC)

Freeport Amtrak station

You recently moved Freeport, Illinois (Amtrak station) to clarify the disambiguation. Should the Freeport (Amtrak station) in Maine not have some disambiguation as well? Secondarywaltz (talk) 19:54, 10 November 2012 (UTC)

Yes, I think it should. The state-specific split of Ashland (Amtrak station) is a good example of why. Additionally, I think the Freeport, Illinois (Amtrak station) article should have a pre-new Black Hawk history section. And if there's something similar that can be added to Freeport, Maine (Amtrak station), then so be it. -------User:DanTD (talk) 20:00, 10 November 2012 (UTC)
UPDATE - I just did it. I also converted it into a dab page, which will probably be redirected to the Freeport dab page. I didn't see anybody else doing it, and I suspected that you might be hinting that I should. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 13:50, 12 November 2012 (UTC)

Article feedback tool post

What is this about - Why would you try leaving a message to the IP in that way? Talk pages are avalible, you know:) Mdann52 (talk) 13:44, 22 November 2012 (UTC)

Yes, but the feedback section is completley separate from the rest of the talk page. I wanted my reply to go directly there. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 13:53, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
Gotcha - it may of been better to of referenced the feedback number of the origional, but, that Wikipedia :) Mdann52 (talk) 14:03, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
