Re: Greystone
Exactly how many times will I tell you to cite external sources, not the blog posting everything. I like Emily's site, I'm a frequent reader. However, the point is cite sources that aren't the blog. It is simple Wikipedia policy. We cite reliable sources, not rush an SPS in for true information. That is a major no-no, and I'm trying to make a point that you need to fix it up. Disambiguation link notification for August 21
Hi. When you recently edited Columbia County, Florida, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Lake City Municipal Airport (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

- Hey, speaking of bots, has anybody noticed that none of them have assessed or reassessed any WP:Trains or WP:Long Island articles in over a month? ----DanTD 04:45, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
- Long story short, they updated how the database works. That update caused a slowdown on the toolserver and that caused the copy of the database the bots used to be up to 16 days out of date. The bot was shut down for all assessment updates, and it should be restarted before long. See Wikipedia talk:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Index#WP 1.0 bot temporarily down 2012-8-7. Secaucus, New Jersey
Hi. If you don't mind my asking, why did you add a hidden uncited passage to the article? Nightscream (talk) 04:12, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
- I wanted to wait until it was cited and possibly expanded before I exposed it. I don't know if you're aware of this, but there was a discussion on this coverage of Secaucus on the talk page of Secaucus Junction. Yes, I know I started that thread there, but if you look at the link it seems pretty valid. If there's any consulation, I tried to find a citation for that Charles Bukowski poem about Secaucus that was supposed to be at city hall. So far, no such luck. ----DanTD 04:21, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
Unwritten articles (a.k.a.; Non-unfinished Florida State Highways)
I hope you realize I recently wrote three articles that are on your List of Unwritten Florida State Road articles. Plus I'm working on two others, and I plan another one after this. Perhaps it's time you update your list. Outside of that, Georgia State Route 121 was already written as well, but it needs some work. ----DanTD 17:40, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
- I hope you realize that leaving this message is the first edit I've made to Wikipedia in over 2 years, and I hadn't updated that Unwritten list in 4 years. Anything that is a blue link on that page is no longer unwritten -- which is the vast majority of at least half a dozen states, and even just in Florida is well more than the three articles you mention. I used that page only when I was manually maintaining a wiki-work stats page for WP:USRD, which obviously is no longer the case.
- If its outdated existence offends you, feel free to nominate it for some sort of deletion (no longer being up on wikipolicy, I don't know which process would be best), or just ignore it as everyone else has for four years. -- Kacie Jane (talk) 04:47, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
- Well, if you're not going to use it, perhaps you don't mind if I swipe if from you. Emphasis on the word "perhaps" here. ----DanTD 04:52, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
- Zero = the number of fucks I give if you swipe it. I'm not remotely active on Wikipedia, and claim not ownership of anything in my userspace. I only responded to you because I still get e-mail notifications when my talk page is edited and can't be bothered to turn them off, and I found your message somewhat amusing. -- Kacie Jane (talk) 05:00, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
- Fine. I'll just post this when I rename the article and use it to prove you don't give a fuck if I take from you or not just in case administrators ask. ----DanTD 14:27, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
Your signature
It must contain a link to either your user page or your user talk page, and at the moment, it contain neither. See WP:SIGLINK for the requirement. Imzadi 1979 → 15:41, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
- Wow. I didn't know the links were missing until you told me. How did they disappear? ----DanTD 16:23, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
- You must have a custom signature defined in your preferences, and you didn't link it. WP:SIGHELP may offer you some guidance. Imzadi 1979 → 18:05, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
- Ugh! That's not going to work. The first thing they tell you to do is make changes to your "My Preferences" page, and for over a month, I haven't been able to may any changes to my "My Preferences" page. I guess all that I have left is one of rhe autosignature icons, and there's no guarantee it'll always show up. --DanTD 19:46, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
