Re:
If it makes more sense to you, then go ahead, be bold and in editing and updating pages. That's what Wikipedia is about. --Yamamoto Ichiro (山本一郎)(会話) 22:21, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
- If you need any help though, you can leave a message on my talk page. But yea, just edit, as long as your don't violate WP:5P, you should be fine. Although there are other policies as well, but you can learn them as you edit. --Yamamoto Ichiro (山本一郎)(会話) 22:35, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:
- editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with,
- participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors,
- linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
- and you must always:
- avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.
Accounts used solely for blatant self-promotion may be blocked without further warning.
Thanks. To clarify my position, I'm not Ashley Morgan, I'm just a fan of his music and I find it annoying that the Ashley_Morgan wikipedia page keeps getting taken over by a fictional character.
In the UK Ashley Morgan has sold lots of records, made a name for himself as a jazz trumpet player, played with many famous name bands, and launched an independent record label. I genuinely feel that a page about a real, and very popular, musician is of more use than a page about a fictional character.
For more details, please read the Conflict of Interest guideline. Thank you. GDonato (talk) 20:35, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
