Please stop. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Spillover of the Israel–Hamas war, you may be blocked from editing. estar8806 (talk) ★ 20:42, 5 October 2024 (UTC)
- How rude. It was moved to 2023-2024 Middle Eastern Crisis, despite my typo. Fantastic Mr. Fox (talk) 20:45, 5 October 2024 (UTC)
- See below. Cut & paste moves are not allowed. estar8806 (talk) ★ 20:45, 5 October 2024 (UTC)
- No, they are discouraged if it involves moving the article to a different title. However, they are two separate topics, and using one as a baseplate to improve the other is allowed to my knowledge. It is by no means intended to replace the Spillover article. Fantastic Mr. Fox (talk) 20:49, 5 October 2024 (UTC)
- I understand. In that case, please start a WP:SPLIT rather than taken unilateral action, especially given this is a WP:Contentious topic. estar8806 (talk) ★ 20:52, 5 October 2024 (UTC)

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Spillover of the Israel–Hamas war a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into 2023-2024 Middle Eastern Crisis. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. estar8806 (talk) ★ 20:44, 5 October 2024 (UTC)
2023-2024 Middle Eastern Crisis moved to draftspace
Thanks for your contributions to 2023-2024 Middle Eastern Crisis. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because WP:CFORK for now. Split discussion is pending so this shouldn't be in mainspace.. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. estar8806 (talk) ★ 01:03, 6 October 2024 (UTC)
Issues with uncivil behavior
Recently on the AfD page for Comparisons between Donald Trump and fascism article, I have noticed that my removal of a personal attack has been removed: [1]
It seems to fit the bill of WP:PERSONALATTACK. If removing a personal attack isn't an option, then what should I do? Antitransphobe (talk) 21:14, 5 November 2024 (UTC)
- Sorry I was aware I was slightly aggressive in my tone in my reversion. If a user makes a personal attack, it is only removable if the person is clearly WP:NOTHERE (i.e a WP:SPA) or the edit is spam. However all personal attacks made by a person will be noted. If a user makes a personal attack and does not retract it, you could bring it up at WP:ANI. Great Mercian actually had a case there that was just archived [2]. Fantastic Mr. Fox (talk) 21:25, 5 November 2024 (UTC)
- I was actually sending an information to Great Mercian about his personal attacks. I have referred myself to these policies and misunderstood them, although I abode by the spirit of the policy when removing his comment. The {{RPA}} template was used once, so I thought about using it. What advice would you give to me when it is warranted to use it? Antitransphobe (talk) 23:31, 5 November 2024 (UTC)
- The editor who had the comment removed had almost zero edits outside the discussion and was shortly thereafter blocked for WP:RGW.
- I pretty much never delete a comment, unless it is from a sockpuppet or vandal eavesdropping in on a discussion with a (truely) outrageous statement. Fantastic Mr. Fox (talk) 11:25, 6 November 2024 (UTC)

- Hi Eram, I do not have the ability to protect/lock pages. If your worried about vandalism or disruptive editing, head to Wikipedia:Requests for page protection and follow the instructions there for creating a report. Fantastic Mr. Fox (talk) 12:32, 20 December 2024 (UTC)
- Well Fine, and thank you so much. Eram7 (talk) 12:59, 20 December 2024 (UTC)
Review
Hi Dear, can you review my contribution on Poonam Pandey grammatically error or anything else. Please help me to fix it. Am new herr but always edit genuine fact based.
Thank you Eram7 (talk) 16:54, 20 December 2024 (UTC)
- I reverted most of it due to WP:NPOV concern and WP:BLP violations. When you add stuff to an article (particularly if it seems controversial), make sure you have some like a reliable source .
- I'm fairly busy IRL and potentially not the best candidate for in detailed analysis, so my suggestion here would be to go to the WP:TEAHOUSE, or head over to
- Wikipedia:Adopt-a-user to seek someone focused on mentoring newcomers if you have further queries.
- Happy editing! Fantastic Mr. Fox (talk) 18:01, 20 December 2024 (UTC)
